Summary: 1,3,5-Tricyclohexyl-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4,6-trione (TCy-TAZTO) was obtained with high chemoselectivity and excellent yield through an efficient and simple cyclotrimerization of isocyanatocyclohexane. The newly synthesized TCy-TAZTO was characterized using FT-IR, H-1, and C-13 NMR spectra, and its molecular structure was investigated using single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

The R-gt (F) value is 0.0463, the wR(ref) (F-2) value is 0.1395, and the temperature T is 293 K.

Summary: TMT was first used as a sulfidation agent in the flotation of smithsonite, showing better activation effects compared to sodium sulfide. The contact angle increased significantly and a hydrophobic film was formed on the mineral surface after TMT treatment. This provided more adsorption sites for butyl xanthate, significantly enhancing the adsorption of the collector.

Summary: The study used 1,3,5-tris(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazinane to inhibit corrosion of X60 steel in 3.5% NaCl saturated with CO2. The inhibitor performed better under hydrodynamic conditions, showing primarily cathodic mechanism and following Langmuir isotherm for adsorption on steel surface.

Summary: The study showed that the liquid fuel component released from oil-filled cryogels caused less corrosion damage to storage and transportation tanks compared to the used oils contained in oil-filled cryogels. Creating various textures on the surfaces of fuel tank samples formed of aluminum alloy with a laser-based processing method was found to play a crucial role in anti-corrosion processes.

Summary: The heterobimetallic crystals consist of cadmium-sodium complex of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trione, grown by single gel diffusion technique. The complex exhibits distorted octahedral geometry with six-coordination, forming two-dimensional coordination polymer chains along the (110) plane. The polymer formation is assisted by various intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds between water molecules and ligands.

Summary: This study evaluates the synthesis effects of sol-gel and laser floating zone methods on barium ferrite, and compares the properties of samples under different preparation conditions. The results show that sol-gel method produces samples with promising dielectric properties, while laser floating zone method yields samples with superior magnetic properties. The findings are of great significance for the development of new energy storage materials.

Summary: The circularity of industrial wastewater can be improved by extracting valuable components and recirculating them. This study evaluated wastewater produced after the deodorization process of polypropylene, which removes residues of additives. The recovered phenolic compound improved the thermal qualities of the material, making the polymer production process more circular.

Summary: This research investigates a co-crystal of N-carbamothioylbenzamide and 1,3,5-triazinane-2,4,6-trithione through simple synthesis, single crystal X-ray structure determination, Hirshfeld surface (HS) analysis, crystal voids studies, and density function theory (DFT) calculations. The results reveal the crystal structure and molecular interactions of the co-crystallized compounds, as well as their mechanical stability. The optimized molecular structures obtained from DFT calculations show good agreement with the experimentally determined structures.

Summary: A new complex compound [Co(tptz)Cl(H2O)2]Cl.5.5H2O has been synthesized and characterized. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group I2/a and the Co(II) central ion exhibits slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The compound shows intermolecular interactions through hydrogen bonds and pi-pi stacking. Electronic and vibrational properties of the compound were also investigated.

Summary: Benzotriazole (BTA) inhibitor was coated in mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) using tannic acid complex (TAC) deposition, forming a pH control release valve for sensitive feedback and control of BTA release. By adding MSNs-BTA@TAC to an organic-inorganic composite coating, a self-healing coating with pH feedback sensitivity and corrosion compensation function was prepared. The results showed significant self-healing effect of the coating after soaking in simulated body fluids, with a increase in low-frequency impedance modulus.
