Summary: This work reports the simultaneous observation of converse magnetoelectric (CME) and direct magnetoelectric (DME) effects in LaYFe2O6. The study found that LaYFe2O6 has a double perovskite structure and exhibits magnetoelectric properties at higher temperatures. The material has high magnetoelectric coefficients, which opens up new possibilities for magnetoelectric-based applications.

Summary: This study investigated the long-term performance of a multiferroic composite structure, revealing a significant degradation in the magnetoelectric response, possibly due to a reduction in the bonding interface quality. The increase in temperature at the onset of loading was associated with the induced oscillatory piezoelectric strain.

Summary: Numerical simulation is rarely used for magnetoelectric materials due to coupling complexity, but COMSOL software proves to be an effective tool for analyzing the changes of coefficients and vibration modes in magnetoelectric laminates. The simulation results show good agreement with theoretical analysis and experiments, indicating the potential for further nonlinear theoretical analysis.

Summary: A phenomenological model of exchange bias field and coercivity formation in polycrystalline ferromagnet/antiferromagnet composites was constructed using the Fe19Ni81/Fe50Mn50 system as an example. Experimental data on temperature variations of hysteresis properties were used to estimate distributions of crystallite blocking temperature and magnetic anisotropy constant for the antiferromagnetic layer, leading to successful micromagnetic simulation and analysis of hysteresis properties of the film with exchange bias.

Summary: This study investigates the magnetic and electric properties of 0.5BFSc2O-0.5KNO and 0.5BFIn2O-0.5KNO composite samples. The results show the presence of both ferrimagnetic and ferroelectric phases in these compounds, with the properties being controlled by electric poling and stress induction. Strong converse magnetoelectric coupling effects are also observed.

Summary: This paper investigates the magnetoelectric effect of layered magnetoelectric composites. The physical process is analyzed using the finite element method, and the magnetoelectric response of the eddy current in the Cu-PZT layered composite material is studied. The voltage variations of different samples are compared, showing that metal-piezoelectric composite materials without power source can be effectively used to develop passive magnetic sensors.

Summary: The influence of thermally induced microstructural transformations on the magnetic properties of Fe72Cu1V4Si15B8 ribbon was studied, and it was found that the orientation of the ribbon affects the magnetic properties. The magnetic hysteresis loop was inverted for perpendicular orientation, and the magnetization of the material was significantly affected by the thermally induced microstructural transformations. The ribbon with a nanocrystalline structure, annealed at 773 K for one hour, exhibited the best magnetic properties.
