Summary: Narrow-leafed lupin (NLL) beta-5 and beta-7 conglutin proteins, containing unique structural features like the mobile arm at the N-terminal, showed anti-inflammatory and oxidative cell state regulatory properties, reducing pro-inflammatory mediators and cytokines. Truncated forms of these proteins did not exhibit the same effects. This suggests that the mobile arm domain is key in developing nutraceutical properties, making NLL beta-5 and beta-7 potential functional food components.

Summary: The study identified different profiles of self-harm behavior among justice-involved adolescents, including high-NSSI, moderate-NSSI, and low-NSSI, with higher rates of female members in Classes 1 and 2 and significantly higher dissociation proportions. The findings suggest the need for sophisticated treatment approaches to match the diverse characteristics of self-harm profiles among justice-involved youth.

Summary: Smartphones and health apps are commonly used for medical purposes, but there is no consensus on the evidence for a unified digital strategy. The quality of health apps is inconsistently defined. The Association of Medical Societies provides 9 quality criteria as a guide for assessing these apps, which are based on existing standards and benchmarks. Users are recommended to conduct their own research and weigh the risks and benefits of using an app, similar to regular medical practice.

Summary: The governance of the transition to sustainable agriculture in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta is hindered by a lack of leadership, coordination, and funding. Fragmented central government leadership causes delays, while the absence of inter-provincial coordination and funding mechanisms further constrains the transition. This study highlights how insufficient governance processes limit climate change adaptation in Vietnam.

Summary: This study conducted a qualitative case study in An Giang province, Vietnam to examine the understanding of the 'Living with Floods' concept and the implementation of three projects, aiming to explain the effectiveness of water governance in Vietnam. The findings revealed diverging perceptions on the LWF concept among different levels of government, which undermines water governance effectiveness. A framework and a list of indicators are proposed to measure the effectiveness of floodwater governance. Integrating local and social aspects in LWF policies and promoting vertical coordination can help align short-term benefits with long-term adaptation.

Summary: This study uses Q methodology to explore the contrasting perspectives among relevant actors in resolving impasses in policy transfer from Dutch flood management policy to Jakarta, Indonesia. Two perspectives, direct implementation and further modification, are identified. These perspectives hinder strategic alignment and highlight issues such as lack of leadership from Indonesia and conflicting interests of the Dutch government as policy sender, leading to prolonged stagnation. The use of consultants in strategy making and planning also limits the space for translation.
