Summary: This study focuses on using image-based techniques such as structure from motion (SfM) to produce high-accuracy topographic maps using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and minimal surface measurements. Real-time kinematic (RTK) has been used to increase positional accuracy to 1-3 times the ground sampling distance (GSD). The study evaluates the post-processing kinematic (PPK) approach for achieving high positional accuracy with UAV image georeferencing and assesses the impact of different flight patterns and altitudes on the accuracy of the resulting topographic maps.

Summary: This study examines systematic elevation errors in georeferencing UAV-acquired imagery without using ground control points (GCPs), and proposes strategies for eliminating this error. By conducting multiple flights at different altitudes and image acquisition axes, the research demonstrates a linear dependence between focal length deviation and systematic elevation error, and shows that a combination of two flights with different image acquisition axes can reduce the error to less than 0.03 meters. Overall, georeferencing without GCPs is a feasible alternative to traditional methods.

Summary: Steep rock slopes provide opportunities and challenges in Earth science applications. Direct georeferencing of UAVs can generate high-resolution 3D datasets, but large vertical errors may occur in near-vertical terrains. Multiple image angles result in the highest precision, while ground control points greatly reduce mean errors.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of including external GNSS estimates to model a priori Zenith Wet Delay (ZWD) in VLBI analysis, as well as other models of a priori ZWD. The results show that modelling a priori ZWD does not significantly affect baseline length and coordinates repeatabilities, but can change the estimated coordinates by a few millimeters in the up component, and has a small but significant impact on Earth Orientation Parameters (EOP) and troposphere estimates.

Summary: The accuracy of data positioning collected by remote sensing platforms is crucial in various forestry-based research, such as forest and wildlife surveys, salvage logging, and fire risk management. This study demonstrated the importance of using 10 Ground Control Points (GCPs) for terrain evaluation, even in small forest areas below 5 hectares and regardless of terrain slope.

Summary: The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in photogrammetric mapping/surveying facilities has increased recently. The aim of this study was to assess the accuracy of a UAV-based post-processing kinematic (PPK) solution. The results show that UAV-PPK method can be used to produce photogrammetric products where high accuracy is required.

Summary: Data mining on GNSS network RTK trajectories can reveal user behavior patterns, assess local economic development, and improve work plans. An improved DBSCAN clustering algorithm considering new parameters such as height change and satellite number is proposed. Centroid analysis is used to determine survey points after clustering. Experiments using simulated and real data from HNCORS GNSS network RTK services show that the identification rate can reach 86.3%, an increase of 15.2% compared to traditional methods.
