Therefore, the application of resveratrol-doped adhesive holds promise for increasing the lifetime of composite restorations.

Summary: This study evaluated the antibacterial activity of a nisin-doped adhesive against Streptococcus mutans and its impact on the degree of conversion and microtensile bond strength. The results showed that the nisin-doped adhesives significantly inhibited the growth of Streptococcus mutans, but the incorporation of higher concentrations of nisin reduced the degree of conversion of the adhesive. However, the microtensile bond strength was not significantly affected after incorporating 1% nisin.

The 3D structure with branch-like morphology effectively reduced thickness and extended microwave transmission path, achieving better absorption results. The study highlights the synergy between morphology and composition for potential applications in microwave absorption technologies with low filler ratio and thinner matching thickness.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the effect of ribose (RB) on demineralized resin-dentin specimens. Incorporating 1% or 2% RB in the adhesive showed improved wettability, protease inhibition, and stability of demineralized dentin substrates. A higher RB concentration was associated with better outcomes in terms of bond strength and protease inhibition.

Summary: The aim of this study is to evaluate the development of an experimental multi-mode/Universal resin-based dentin adhesive modified with synthetic Mg2+ doped hydroxyapatite crystals (HAp) that have self-remineralization and antibiofilm properties. The experimental adhesive was tested for degree of conversion, X-ray diffraction, bond strength, electron microscopy imaging, nanoleakage, nanoindentation, confocal analysis, and Raman analysis. The effects of the modified adhesive on S. mutans, nucleating abilities, alkaline phosphatase, Runx2, Ocn transcripts, and level of mineralization were investigated. The experimental dentin adhesive with 0.5% Hap/Mg2+ demonstrated improved interaction with dentin and showed preservation of a uniform intact hybrid layer with the absence of nanoleakage, indicating dentin bond integrity.

Summary: In this study, a SnO2-MXene composite electron transport layer (ETL) was used to enhance interfacial contact and improve the efficiency of PVK solar cells by passivating defects at the SnO2/perovskite interface. The introduction of MXene effectively regulated SnO2 dispersion and facilitated vertical growth of PVK, resulting in a perovskite film with fewer defects. The PCE of the SnO2-MXene-based device showed a 15% improvement compared to the SnO2-based device, with a short-circuit current of 25.07 mA cm(-2). Additionally, the unencapsulated device retained about 90% of its initial efficiency after 500 hours of storage under ambient air conditions at 30-40% relative humidity. The use of the composite ETL strategy provides a promising approach for interfacial passivation in metal halide perovskites.

Summary: A functional gel polymer electrolyte based on PVDF-HFP codoped with MXene was developed, exhibiting high ionic conductivity and a three-dimensional porous network structure. The introduction of MXene effectively inhibited the formation of metal dendrites. The electrolyte showed dendrite-free cycling and excellent rate and cycling performance in a symmetric metal battery.

It is a versatile and universally applicable adhesive.
