Summary: The downregulation of FOXF1 is associated with unfavorable clinicopathological features and poor prognosis in bladder cancer (BC). FOXF1 activation impairs cell viability and induces apoptosis in BC cells. FOXF1 inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of BC cells via the caspase signaling pathway. FOXF1 is a favorable biomarker for predicting clinical outcomes in BC and represents a potential therapeutic target.

Summary: Cisplatin (CDDP) is a commonly used chemotherapy drug, but there is a high rate of CDDP resistance among cancer patients. Identifying the molecular mechanisms involved in CDDP resistance, particularly the role of FOX protein family, can help predict CDDP response and introduce prognostic markers. FOX proteins mainly promote CDDP resistance through regulation of DNA repair, autophagy, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and signaling pathways. Inhibition of FOX proteins can be considered as a therapeutic strategy in cancer patients undergoing CDDP treatment.

Summary: This study comprehensively investigated the function of FOX family members in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD). The study found that FOXM1, FOXP1, and FOXN3 have prognostic value, and most FOX members are related to immune cell infiltration. These findings provide insights for future research on the FOX family and contribute to the identification of potential prognostic or therapeutic targets.

Summary: A total of 11,363 gastric cancer patients were enrolled, with SRC patients more likely to occur in female and young patients. Significant factors for prognosis included age, tumor site, tumor size, T classification, N classification, TNM stage, and primary site surgery, as identified through univariate and multivariate analyses.

Summary: The study found that HYOU1 is highly expressed in BCa tissues and cells, and is associated with histological grade and pathologic stage of bladder cancer. HYOU1 promotes cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, while inhibiting apoptosis, thus playing a crucial role in BCa progression. Furthermore, the study revealed the involvement of the HYOU1/PI3K-AKT/FOXO1 negative feedback loop in BCa cell functions.

Summary: This study explored the clinicopathological characteristics, survival outcomes, and prognosis of very young gastric cancer (GC) patients. The results showed that very young GC patients were predominantly female, with diffuse and poorly differentiated types, and most patients were diagnosed at an advanced stage. The common sites of metastasis were the ovary and peritoneum. TNM stage and radical surgery were identified as independent prognostic factors for the overall survival of very young GC patients.

Summary: This article aims to clarify the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of Microinvasive breast cancer (MIBC) in different molecular subtypes and provide feasible suggestions for clinical practice. The study found that HR+/HER2+ subtype had the best prognosis, and radiotherapy could provide additional survival benefits for HR+/HER2- and HR+/HER2+ MIBC patients. Chemotherapy was not recommended for MIBC patients.
