This study adopted a symptom-oriented approach and found that post-TBI depression is highly heterogeneous. Summary: This study found that disability acceptance plays a mediating role between self-efficacy and life satisfaction, as well as sense of belonging and life satisfaction among individuals with spinal cord injury participating in the Sport for All program through self-help group activities. The results emphasize the importance of disability acceptance for individuals with SCI in Sports for All programs.

Summary: Two studies conducted in a Spanish population examined the relationship between self-efficacy beliefs in managing positive emotions and indicators of wellbeing. Summary: This study aimed to develop a scale of dispositional contentment, The Positive Emotion Assessment of Contentment Experience (PEACE) Scale, and found that the PEACE Scale demonstrated favorable psychometric properties. Scores on the PEACE Scale were positively correlated with all Big Five personality traits except for neuroticism, and also correlated positively with unconditional self-acceptance, and negatively with depression, anxiety, and stress. High levels of contentment were predictive of lower materialism and greed.

Summary: It's important to understand the level of acceptance of disability (AOD) in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) for better management and quality of life. This study found that PD patients in Southwest China generally have a moderate level of AOD. Factors such as understanding of PD, family support, and disease severity significantly influence AOD level, and patients with lower AOD levels tend to have poorer quality of life.

Summary: In recent years, the COVID-19 epidemic, irregular school life, and online teaching have adversely affected the mental health and academic performance of college students. This study investigates the relationship between horticultural activities participation, academic self-efficacy, and positive mental characters. The results show that horticultural activity participation is significantly correlated with academic self-efficacy and positive mental characters, and it positively affects positive mental characters. Academic self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between horticultural activity participation and positive mental characters. Universities can implement campus horticultural activities to enhance students' participation, thereby promoting academic self-efficacy and improving the positive psychological level of college students.

Summary: The current study examines the effects of academic self-efficacy, positive relationships, and psychological resilience on university students' life satisfaction based on the PERMA model. Results from data collected from 1,089 university students in southwest China demonstrate that academic self-efficacy predicts life satisfaction through positive relationships and psychological resilience. This study adds value to and enriches the PERMA model within a group of Chinese university students, and provides implications and practical suggestions for improving their life satisfaction.

Summary: This study examined the factors associated with satisfaction with life and found a significant and positive relationship between resilience and satisfaction with life, partially mediated by career adaptability and self-efficacy. Education was found to have a significant and negative association with satisfaction with life. These findings contribute to the understanding of factors contributing to worker well-being and have important practical implications for interventions in organizations.
