Summary: This study examined the functioning of adults with cerebral palsy from their perspective to develop an International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Core Set. The study identified a wide range of body functions and activities that were affected, with emotional function, pain, muscle tone function, family support, products and technology, and health services being the most frequently mentioned categories. Environmental factors were also highlighted as important for functioning in adults with CP.

Summary: This study analyzed the goal patterns in cerebral palsy (CP) football by studying the goals in the 2019 IFCPF World Cup matches. The results showed that teams that scored more goals and conceded fewer goals had a better ranking position. The distribution of goals scored was not influenced by halves or 15-minute periods. The team that scored the first goal had a higher chance of winning the match. FT3 players scored more goals, while there were no statistical differences in the distribution of goals conceded by goalkeepers. The goals were mainly scored from organized attacks, from the penalty area, and through individual action. This information is crucial for coaches in CP football to plan their game strategies.

Summary: The aim of this study was to explore the current use of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) by healthcare professionals at a neurorehabilitation facility, and to identify its further potential for use. The study found that the current use of the ICF was limited, with gaps in goal-setting practices. Lack of knowledge, problematic interpersonal relationships, and an unsupportive organizational culture hindered the implementation of the ICF. Participants believed that the ICF had the potential to improve patient-centered care. In order to enhance service delivery, the implementation process should be well-structured, practical-oriented, and supported by management.

Summary: Current societal and technological changes have increased the ethical challenges faced by individuals with cerebral palsy, including shifts in disability representations, the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health, changes in laws and international agreements, and advancements in technology such as robotics, brain-computer interface devices, and artificial intelligence. These developments have altered diagnostic approaches, intervention goals, and created new opportunities, impacting both clinical practice and research priorities.

Summary: A core set for knee dysfunction was proposed, offering a system for disability assessment related to knee dysfunction across all levels of health care. The study identified categories that best explain knee dysfunction and emphasized the importance of including environmental and social factors in assessing functionality. Further analysis of the validity of the core set is necessary.

Summary: The study found that primary caregivers of children with CP generally have good health-related quality of life and family functioning. Factors such as the mother's education level, family monthly income, sleeping problems in children with CP, and the existence of children with other types of disabilities were identified as key contributors to the HRQOL and family functioning of primary caregivers.

Summary: Tension type headache (TTH) is a prevalent but poorly understood pain disease. A theoretical model proposes a relationship where psycho-physical and psychological factors result in clinical manifestations of headache and ultimately affect disability. A data-driven model proposes a more complex relationship where poor sleep, psychological factors, and the number of years with pain takes more relevance at influencing disability.

Summary: This qualitative study aimed to describe the experiences of women with chronic migraine treated with OBT-A. It found that women experienced treatment failures before OBT-A, had unrealistically high expectations, and felt fear and discomfort during the treatment. However, they reported better migraine control and improved quality of life with OBT-A. Follow-up had barriers but also strengths such as effectiveness and few side effects.

Summary: This study aims to describe the experiences and healthcare needs of parents of children with epilepsy and developmental encephalopathies caused by SCN1A, KCNQ2, CDKL5, PCDH19, and GNAO1 variants. The results show that managing symptoms is challenging and uncertain, medication decisions rest on parents, and the therapeutic relationship and healthcare experience can be influenced by healthcare professionals. Urgent care services should better understand EEDs, support parents, and improve treatment for children.

Summary: This study explored two different graph methods to visualize the prevalence of self-reported post-COVID anosmia and ageusia in a large sample of previously hospitalized individuals. The results showed that the prevalence of anosmia and ageusia decreased in the years following hospitalization, with the female sex and asthma being associated with the development of anosmia. These findings highlight the importance of post-COVID anosmia.

Summary: This study synthesized current evidence on prognostic factors for predicting postoperative pain after knee or hip replacement. The findings suggest that various preoperative factors, including race, opioid use, preoperative function, neuropathic pain symptoms, and anxiety, are associated with postoperative chronic pain. Additionally, certain comorbidities, such as heart disease and lung disease, are not associated with postoperative chronic pain.

Summary: The study aimed to determine the minimal clinically important difference (MCID) for the EuroQol-5D questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L) and visual analogic scale (VAS) in individuals with long-term post-COVID-19 symptoms. The results showed that a change of at least 0.262 and 7.5 for the EQ-5D-5L index and VAS represented the MCID, respectively. Only the EQ-5D-5L VAS showed acceptable discrimination between individuals classified as improved and those classified as stable/not improved.
