Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the properties of the Leg Activity measure based on the Standards for health Measurement Instruments selection. The results showed good psychometric properties and validity of the measurement, with responsiveness demonstrated in participants after treatment for leg spasticity. The analysis confirmed the reliability and validity of the Leg Activity measure in measuring passive function, active function, and impact on quality of life.

Summary: Idiopathic scoliosis is a common condition in adults that can affect their physical and mental health. The Scoliosis Research Society-22 Questionnaire (SRS-22) and the Italian Spine Youth Quality of Life (ISYQOL) international questionnaire are both used to assess health-related quality of life in scoliosis patients. This study compared the validity of ISYQOL and SRS-22 in adults with scoliosis, and found that both questionnaires were comparable in measuring disease burden.

Summary: This study successfully developed three independent scales to measure the quality of life of dementia carers through a needs-led approach. The scales demonstrated robust measurement properties in terms of reliability, validity, responsiveness, and minimally important differences, meeting quality standards for study design and psychometrics.

Summary: This study derived a novel health state classification system, called MobQoL-7D, from the MobQoL tool for preference-based measurement of states of impaired mobility. The system consists of seven dimensions related to mobility-related quality of life. Validity and reliability of the system were confirmed through statistical and psychometric analyses, and population level preference weights are needed for different states of mobility impairment.

Summary: This study evaluated the psychometric properties of the Diabetes Knowledge Test (DKT2). The results showed that the DKT2 had a poor unidimensional structure with low person reliability and separation index. Females and elderly individuals found certain items more difficult to respond to. Caution should be exercised when using the DKT2 in practice and research.

Summary: This systematic review aims to investigate the measurement properties and clinical utility of measurement tools used in telerehabilitation for individuals with neurological diseases. The review will follow the PRISMA statement and utilize various databases for electronic searches. The methodological quality and clinical utility of the tools will be assessed using the COSMIN checklist and a clinical utility scale. The findings of this review will be valuable for healthcare professionals in selecting appropriate measurement tools and planning future research studies.

Summary: This study compared the measurement performance of DLQI in psoriasis patients when NRRs were scored as '0' and 'missing' using Rasch model analysis. The results showed that scoring NRRs as missing improved the measurement performance of the scale. However, DLQI scores of patients with NRRs cannot be directly compared with those without NRRs.
