The poly(3-amino-4-hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid)/Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) modified glassy carbon electrode (PAHBS/Ru(bpy)(3)(2+)/GCE) is a novel solid-state electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor. It was prepared by electropolymerization of 3-amino-4-hydroxybenzenesulfonicacid (AHBS) followed by soaking into Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) solution. Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) was entrapped on the electrode via the electrostatic interactions between sulfonic acid groups and Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) cation. The morphology and composition of the modified electrodes were analysed using scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersed spectrum. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to compare the electrochemical behavior of the electrodes before and after modification. Under the optimal conditions, the ECL intensity of the quenching value (Delta ECL) versus the logarithm of the concentration of malachite green (MG) was linear over a concentration range from 5.0 x 10(-8) to 1.0 x 10(-5) mol L-1 (r = 0.9931) and the limit of detection (LOD) was 2.5 x 10(-8) mol L-1. This method has been successfully applied to the determination of MG in pond water.

Effect of ammonium fluoride concentration on synthesis of Co3O4/CC as cathode material for zinc cobalt battery applications

Wenhai Tan, Youfeng Zhang, Yichen Zhang, Yanbo Ma, Chao Zhao, Yinling Wang

Summary: This study synthesized Co3O4/CC cathode materials with excellent performance for aqueous zinc-ion batteries by varying the reactant concentration. The Co3O4/CC nanowires exhibited uniform distribution, regular surface, and small size on the carbon cloth. The battery assembled with Co3O4/CC material synthesized at a reactant concentration ratio of 2:1 showed better performance, with high discharge specific capacity and capacity retention rate.

Summary: This paper investigates the dynamics of fluid motion powered by cilia within a curved channel and examines the chemical reactions occurring in the presence of electro-osmotic impact. The findings offer insights into various flow characteristics and present a method for simulating non-Newtonian fluid models in three dimensions. Additionally, the model has potential applications in the development of micro-vascular chips, which could be crucial for diagnosing blood-related issues.
