Summary: A wideband bidirectional endfire circularly polarized antenna is proposed in this paper, achieved by combining two endfire CP antennas with a single coaxial probe feed. The antenna demonstrates wide 10-dB impedance bandwidth and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth, along with a desirable peak gain, despite its relatively small overall size.

Summary: This paper presents a compact omnidirectional circularly polarized (OCP) linear antenna array with a planar configuration. By analyzing a shorted half mode patch antenna and introducing periodic structure changes, two naturally parallel arrays are obtained and integrated into a compact format to achieve OCP radiation. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the design.

Summary: This paper proposes a broadband endfire circularly polarized (CP) antenna with a low-profile feeding structure for millimeter-wave (mmW) applications. By adjusting the amplitude and phase relationships between two orthogonal radiated electric-field components, CP radiated wave can be achieved. The axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of the CP element is significantly expanded by introducing a parasitic director. Compared with other antennas, the proposed antenna has a lower profile of feeding substrate, making it easier to integrate with planar front-end circuits.

Summary: This paper proposes a circularly polarized (CP) three-element multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna system with diversity and polarization reconfigurability techniques for wireless local-area network (WLAN) applications. The proposed system utilizes two CP antennas with endfire characteristics and a broadside slot antenna. By using pin diodes in all three antenna elements, the polarization reconfigurability technique is achieved. In addition, the three antennas have distinct directional radiation patterns, resulting in improved diversity performance for the MIMO antenna system.
