Summary: An exploratory pilot study was conducted to assess the acceptance of a brief electronic mindfulness-based intervention (eMBI) among hospitalized high-risk pregnant women. The study found that the eMBI was highly accepted and considered helpful by the participants. The greatest barriers to using the eMBI were a negative attitude toward using apps, preference for personal contact, or no current need for psychotherapy. There is a strong need for mental health services in pregnancy care, especially for pregnant women with risk profiles.

Summary: This study aimed to test the feasibility of a telephone-delivered intervention for post-stroke fatigue and evaluate its impact on fatigue and other outcomes. The results showed that the intervention did not have a significant effect on fatigue or other measured outcomes. Further trials are needed to explore the potential of interventions for post-stroke fatigue.

Summary: The Chinese version of B-MSCS demonstrated good reliability and validity among hospice nurses. The scale's 6-factor structure was supported by exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the model's fit. This developed scale will help evaluate and improve the mindful self-care practice of Chinese hospice nurses.

Summary: This study investigated the feasibility of providing a low-dose mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) intervention to prediabetes/diabetes patients in a clinical setting. The results showed a high recruitment rate and positive participant satisfaction with the intervention. After the intervention, there was a significant reduction in depression score, an increase in engagement in flexibility exercises, and a decrease in glycosylated hemoglobin levels.

Summary: This pilot study assessed the feasibility and acceptability of a Mindfulness-Based Virtual Reality (MBVR) intervention among children and young adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and found preliminary efficacy on key psychological (anxiety) and physical (pain) outcomes. Participants reported high satisfaction and interest in using MBVR in medical settings and daily life. Preliminary analyses showed improvements in anxiety and pain after MBVR, supporting the need for further rigorous research.

Summary: This study found that mindfulness is closely associated with the severity of chronic peripheral neuropathy symptoms and related patient-reported outcomes. Higher levels of mindfulness are associated with milder neuropathy symptoms, less anxiety and depressive symptoms, and better sleep quality. For patients with neuropathy symptoms, mindfulness is associated with better symptom relief and fewer anxiety symptoms, depressive symptoms, and fatigue.
