Summary: During the final preparation, the authors mistakenly assembled some panels in Figure S2I and S9A. The images for AAV9-Scramblecontrol in Figure S2I actually represent AAV9-LacZcontrol. The images for Ad-FGF13 OE+Ad-IKB OE in Figure S9A actually represent Ad-FGF13 NLS-OE. These errors do not affect the results or the conclusions of the paper. Summary: The study indicates that HIVEP1 acts as a negative regulator of NF-κB in monocytes, inhibiting the proinflammatory response induced by bacterial agonists. Dysregulation of HIVEP1 leads to significant changes in the monocyte transcriptome and modulation of NF-κB responsive genes.

Summary: The Ubiquitin-Proteasome System is central in regulating NF-kappa B pathways in skin, with recent progress showing that inhibiting NF-kappa B activation by proteasome inhibitors can prevent the degradation of protein I kappa B and increase cancer cell sensitivity to apoptosis. This suggests that using proteasome inhibitors could be an effective strategy in treating skin cancer with constitutive activation of NF-kappa B.

Summary: In this study, the biological importance of regulatory subunits (Rpts) in female reproduction was investigated using the brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens as a model insect. The results showed that Rpts play a crucial role in the proteolytic activity of the proteasome, which is important for ovarian development, transcription of vitellogenin genes, and production of 20-hydroxyecdysone in adult females.

Summary: Nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) is a transcriptional regulator that plays important roles in cell cycle, immune response, and malignant transformation. The study found that the ubiquitin ligase KPC1 stimulates the generation of the active subunit p50 from the NF-kappa B precursor p105 through ubiquitination. Overexpression of p50 has a strong tumor suppressive effect and stimulates the expression of tumor suppressive genes. The immune system contributes to the tumor suppressive activity of p50 by promoting the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and inhibiting the expression of programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PDL1).

Summary: Plant kinases containing the LysM domain, such as OsRLK3 in rice, play crucial roles in pathogen recognition and self-defense reactions. The interaction between OsRLK3 and the novel ATP synthase gene Ab-atps from Aphelenchoides besseyi affects the growth, reproduction, and infection of the nematode, providing insights for controlling A. besseyi.

Summary: Graphene oxide-cuprous oxide (GO-Cu2O) nanocomposites with different morphologies were prepared for photocatalytic degradation of organic/inorganic dyes and bactericidal effect against pathogenic bacteria under visible light. The hollow dodecahedra morphology of GO-Cu2O exhibited higher absorption and degradation efficiency compared to solid cube morphology, showing excellent antibacterial effect against pathogenic bacteria. The possible mechanism for the enhanced visible-light photocatalytic and antibacterial efficiencies of the dodecahedra morphology was investigated.
