Summary: This study investigated the dynamic characteristics and predictive capability of tumor voxel dose-response matrix (DRM) using feedback from serial FDG-PET/CT imaging during radiotherapy. The results showed that DRM constructed using a single FDG-PET/CT feedback image after the 2nd treatment week has good predictive capability, and the predictive capability improves continuously using a later feedback image and slightly improves when two feedback images are applied.

Summary: Positron emission tomography (PET) is a vital imaging technique used for studying biological and physiological processes, with fluorine-18 (F-18) being a commonly used positron emitter in PET imaging. The presence of fluorine atoms in many drugs opens up possibilities for developing radioligands labeled with fluorine-18.

Summary: Dynamic early-phase PET images using radiotracers binding to fibrillar amyloid-beta correlate with [F-18]fluorodeoxyglucose PET images and provide perfusion-like information. Regional standardized uptake value ratios and intrapatient Pearson's correlation coefficients show strong correlations between the dynamic early-phase PET images and [F-18]FDG PET images. This suggests that dynamic early-phase PET could serve as an additional neurodegeneration biomarker in amyloid PET studies.

Summary: The study found that presymptomatic MAPT mutation carriers already exhibited subtle elevated tau binding, while symptomatic carriers showed a more significant increase. Specific MAPT mutations, such as R406W, showed the most pronounced tau deposition in presymptomatic carriers.

Summary: In this prospective study, [Ga-68]Pentixafor-PET showed higher sensitivity and detection rates compared to [F-18]FDG-PET in patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), indicating that it may be a potential alternative for imaging in these patients. The study also found that SUVs and TBRs were significantly higher for [Ga-68]Pentixafor-PET, with the most notable difference observed in mean TBRblood values.

Summary: This study aims to investigate the use of F-18-Fluorocholine positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-18-FCH PET/CT) in patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT) who have negative or equivocal conventional imaging results. The results show that F-18-FCH PET/CT has a high accuracy rate for the diagnosis of hyperfunctional parathyroid tissue and is also important for surgical guidance.

Summary: Infectious diseases continue to be the main cause of illness and death globally. The increasing prevalence of multidrug-resistant bacteria is a growing concern, resulting from various selection pressures. Many of these bacterial infections are acquired in hospitals and have been classified as urgent threats by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve the clinical management of bacterial infections through new methods of bacterial identification and antibiotic efficacy monitoring in vivo.

Summary: The study found significantly higher [F-18]-DPA714 binding in the midbrain, frontal cortex, and contralateral putamen of PD patients compared to healthy controls. Microglial activation in these regions did not correlate with motor symptoms severity or disease duration, but there was a trend towards correlation with disease duration in the cortex. This suggests a specific topographic pattern of microglial activation in PD patients.
