Summary: This study assessed the implementation and effectiveness of the augmented WE CARE social care system on low-income children's health care utilization and child maltreatment outcomes. The implementation of WE CARE was poor and only 28.9% of visits had a WE CARE screener documented. WE CARE families received more resource referrals and had higher immunization rates, but also higher rates of emergency department visits and hospitalizations. There were no significant differences in maltreatment outcomes.

Summary: This study analyzed the relationship between early sports participation and body fatness in adults, and examined whether this relationship is influenced by current physical activity level. The results showed that early sports participation and current physical activity level were both negatively related to body fatness in adults. Current physical activity level partially mediated the impact of early sports participation on body fatness, but both early sports participation and current physical activity level remained relevant determinants of body fatness.
