Summary: This study aimed to assess the prevalence and correlates of depression, anxiety, and stress among professional football team medical and allied health staff (MAHS) in Turkey. A total of 573 staff participated in an online survey, with 36.7% reporting moderate depression, 25% reporting anxiety, and 80.5% reporting stress. Younger and less experienced MAHS had higher stress scores, while masseurs and staff without a second job had higher depression and anxiety scores. MAHS with lower monthly income also had higher scores for depression, anxiety, and stress. Summary: Consumers face costs and inconvenience in purchasing and consuming goods, and these costs, such as time, effort, training, and expertise, can limit their ability to derive utility from products. Our model illustrates how economies of scope and access costs can influence consumer purchases, showing that the purchase of one good can make the purchase of other goods more likely. This challenges the traditional understanding of complementary purchases being driven by utility enhancements rather than cost reductions. The findings suggest that economies of scope and access costs are of high economic value in consumer decision-making, alongside price considerations.
