Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the perception of Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) by physicians and nurses in vascular medicine. The findings suggest that vascular medicine lacks sufficient time and staff to effectively manage patients' severity of illness. ANPs are desired to fill this gap and provide smoother care pathways and increased capacity for cardiovascular education and prevention. However, there is a need for clarification in integrating these new practitioners into existing vascular teams.

Summary: As interest in supporting new nurse practitioners' transition to practice increases, the Novice NP Role Transition (NNPRT) Scale, the first instrument to measure this concept, has been validated with a five-factor structure. The NNPRT Scale includes 37 items, has high internal consistency reliability (0.95), and is supported by convergent validity evidence. It will be useful for researchers, administrators, and clinicians exploring factors affecting NNPRT and implementing support programs.
