Summary: This paper examines Cassirer's philosophy of culture in the field of economics by exploring the economic concepts of commodity, money, capital, and culture. It argues that these concepts can help to understand the historical specificity of capitalist culture and challenge Cassirer's view of capitalism as a universal system. Ultimately, the paper concludes that these concepts shed light on Cassirer's failed quest to find a coherent universal culture within capitalism.

Summary: This research aims to explore cognitive liberty and the psychedelic humanities by examining their constitutive elements. It is important to recognize the role of the humanities in psychedelic science research, as there is currently a significant gap in this area. The study considers that individuals have the right to choose whether to use or refrain from using emerging neurotechnologies and psychedelics, with a focus on protecting their freedom of choice against coercive and non-consensual uses. The research analyzes the components of cognitive liberty, explores the philosophical uses of psychedelics, and discusses the significance of psychedelic humanities in expanding our understanding of consciousness studies and ethical issues in scientific research.

It argues that technoscientific biorobotic studies focus on proximal hypotheses, while scientific biorobotic studies focus on distal hypotheses. The paper concludes by reflecting on the philosophical and disciplinary importance of seeing biorobotics as a science and/or technoscience for the bio-hybrid and technical world of the 21st century.

Summary: Bio-inspired robots have become increasingly important in various fields of technical and scientific production. However, there is still a lack of philosophical investigation into the mimetic principle used in bio-robotics. This paper aims to examine the role of biomimetic and bio-inspired processes in different practices of bio-robotics, providing conceptual order, discussing the necessity of imitating nature, addressing the philosophical issue of the model-world relation, and presenting case studies to demonstrate the importance of imitation in producing knowledge. The proposed taxonomy can be useful for historians and philosophers to understand and problematize the practices and frameworks in bio-robotics.
