Summary: This study evaluated the impact of asthma education, asthma control assessment, and spirometry testing on the time to severe exacerbation (TTSE). The results showed that asthma education and asthma control assessment were associated with a decrease in exacerbation frequency and an extended TTSE, highlighting the importance of ensuring quality care in clinical practice.

Summary: Intermittent oral corticosteroid (OCS) use for asthma is associated with increased risks of adverse outcomes. More frequent prescribing patterns of OCS are associated with higher risks of adverse outcomes, particularly pneumonia and sleep apnea. Mitigation strategies are needed to minimize intermittent OCS prescription in primary care.

Summary: This study examines the heterogeneous relationships between hospital provider network structure and hospital outcomes, such as cost efficiency and quality. The results show that different network structures have significant effects on various outcomes, and these effects vary systematically with hospital characteristics.

Summary: The time taken for semen collection is associated with semen quality. A longer collection time is linked to poor semen parameters including volume, concentration, motility, and morphology. Among those undergoing assisted reproductive technology, there is a higher risk of miscarriage with longer collection time. This study highlights the importance of efficient semen collection in assessing male fertility.

Summary: This paper aimed to develop quality indicators (QIs) for evaluating the quality of care and outcomes for adults with atrial fibrillation (AF). Six domains of care were identified, and a total of 17 main and 17 secondary QIs were selected to cover these domains, with the expectation that implementing these QIs will improve the quality of AF care.
