Summary: The accuracy of flapless placement of zygomatic implants in edentulous maxilla using dynamic navigation was assessed through a randomized controlled trial. The flapless group showed significantly higher accuracy in the position of the implants compared to the conventional group. Flapless placement of zygomatic implants guided by dynamic navigation offered satisfactory safety and accuracy.

Summary: This study aimed to assess the impact of mucoperiosteal flap elevation for single immediate implant placement on buccal hard and soft tissue changes, as well as clinical, aesthetic, and patient-reported outcomes. Five randomized controlled trials were selected, and the results showed that flapless surgery resulted in better preservation of buccal bone and had significant advantages in terms of vertical buccal bone change and pain. However, the reporting of clinical and aesthetic parameters was insufficient, and the clinical relevance of these findings remains unclear.

Summary: The study investigated a novel workflow integrating dynamic navigation for immediate single-implant placement in the esthetic zone. Results showed that this approach achieved successful implant placement and good aesthetics, with high patient satisfaction and no surgical or biological complications.

Summary: This study assessed the impact of implant placement and temporization timing on esthetic outcomes of single maxillary anterior implants with intact bone walls and interproximal bone. The results showed that both immediate and early implant placement resulted in excellent esthetic outcomes after a 1-year follow-up, with immediate implant placement requiring less chair time.

Summary: This study aimed to compare the accuracy of dynamic and static computer-assisted implant surgery (CAIS) systems for immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone. The results showed that both static and dynamic CAIS systems achieved clinically acceptable accuracy for immediate implant placement, with no significant differences observed between the two systems.

Summary: The accuracy of implant placement assisted by a dynamic navigation system meets the clinical needs and is higher than that of traditional implants. Different jaw positions, lateral locations, and implant diameters and lengths do not affect the accuracy of dental implants guided by the dynamic navigation system. The tip deviation in the anterior teeth area is greater than in the posterior teeth area. As the number of dynamic implantation procedures performed by the same implant doctor increases, the angle deviation gradually decreases.

Summary: This study introduces a method for real-time monitoring of dynamic variations of satellite orbital maneuvers in the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method have been validated with different datasets, demonstrating its ability to detect orbital maneuvers accurately and extend usable observations by about three hours. This method is useful for improving positioning, navigation, and timing services.

Summary: This randomized clinical trial investigated the vertical and horizontal changes observed 1 year after flapless immediate implantation, with and without xenograft, in sites with a thin labial plate. The results showed that compared to the control group, the xenograft group had an increased fill of the horizontal gap and a reduced vertical bone change.

Summary: This study evaluated the 3-year esthetic outcome of flapless immediate implant placement and provisionalization (FIIPP), and found that it may increase the risk of buccal soft-tissue recession. By installing implants in a maximal palatal position and filling the gaps with bovine bone substitute, high patient satisfaction and good soft-tissue esthetics were achieved after three years. Factors such as implant location, gap size, and emergence profiles were associated with the esthetic outcome.

Summary: This case series study demonstrated that immediate dental implants (IDIs) placed in fresh extraction sockets (FES) in the maxillary esthetic zone (MEZ) can achieve clinical and radiographic stability. The success and survival rates of the implants were 100%, with no clinical evidence of peri-implant soft tissue inflammation. There was no evidence of peri-implant inflammation at 2-year follow-up, based on the peri-implant plaque index, bleeding on probing, probing depth, and crestal bone loss measurements.

Summary: Esthetic complications in implant dentistry have become important considerations for patients and practitioners. This review evaluates the physiological peri-implant soft-tissue dimensions and factors that affect esthetics. Parameters such as papilla fill and mucosal height are critical for implant-supported restorations. The clinical attachment level of neighboring teeth and the distance between implants also play important roles in esthetics.

Summary: This study evaluated the aesthetic outcomes of ridge augmentation using cancellous bone-block allografts, late implant placement, and immediate loading in atrophic anterior maxilla. The results showed that this approach can achieve a stable aesthetic result as assessed by the PES and WES indexes.

Summary: The study found that a digital workflow integrating dynamic navigation was reliable for single-implant immediate loading in the aesthetic zone in one visit, with a high success rate of 98.10%. Factors such as type of incision, implant site, jaw, and biotype did not significantly affect outcomes related to marginal bone loss, pink aesthetic score, and implant stability quotient.
