Summary: This paper proposes managing charge injection and recombination behavior in CsSnI3-based Pero-LEDs by tuning the interface area of perovskite and charge-transporter. By utilizing a dendritic CsSnI3 structure, efficient lead-free NIR Pero-LEDs are achieved with a record external quantum efficiency of 5.4%. The dendritic structure also shows superiorities in flexible devices, maintaining almost no morphology change even after 2000 cycles of bends, and retaining 93.4% of initial EQEs after 50 cycles of bends.

Summary: By adding glutamine (Gln) to the perovskite precursor, the quality of the FAPbI(3) film is significantly improved, resulting in enhanced film coverage and reduced grain trap states. As a result, NIR perovskite LEDs are achieved with a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 15% at 795 nm, which is four times higher than devices with pristine perovskite film.

Summary: Room-temperature-high-efficiency light-emitting diodes based on metal halide perovskite FAPbI(3) exhibit excellent performance at low temperatures, with increased quantum efficiency and stability. The enhanced EQE at low temperatures is attributed to the increased photoluminescence quantum efficiencies of the perovskite, leading to an increased radiative recombination rate.

Summary: The BDA-PeLED exhibits significantly enhanced stability with a record operational half-lifetime T-50 of 189.4 hours at high current density. The main origins of instability in PeLEDs without BDA are the generation of deep traps at interfaces and the infiltration of anions under long-term electric stress.

Summary: This study reports Si-based near-infrared perovskite light-emitting devices with enhanced efficiency by using two composite layers. The hole transport layer is constructed to balance carrier injection, while the other layer is used to passivate defects and protect the material from degradation. Through these composite layers, the EL performance is improved with an external quantum efficiency of 7.5%, and stability is enhanced to 200 min after the introduction of another layer. The results provide a simple way to manufacture high-efficiency and stable PeLEDs under air condition.

Summary: Embedding submicrocavities as light output couplers is an effective approach to improve the light out-coupling efficiency (LOCE) for planar perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). In this study, phenethylammonium iodide (PEAI) is used to trigger the downward recrystallization of perovskite, resulting in spontaneous formation of buried submicrocavities. Simulation results show that the buried submicrocavities can improve the LOCE from 26.8% to 36.2% for near-infrared light. Consequently, the PeLEDs achieve higher peak external quantum efficiency (EQE) and radiance with low rolling-off, as well as a decreased turn-on voltage and trap density. This work provides a self-assembly method to integrate buried output coupler for boosting the performance of PeLEDs.

Summary: This paper investigates the power characteristics and power factor optimization in a coaxial tube-tube dielectric barrier discharge reactor. The effects of various parameters on discharge power and power factor were evaluated. The results show that increasing discharge voltage, discharge frequency, and electrode length can enhance discharge power. However, the power factor initially increases and then decreases with increasing discharge frequency. Response surface method and artificial neural network were used for power factor optimization, and their results were consistent. The degradation experiment of toluene in the reactor reveals a positive correlation between the toluene degradation rate and power factor, with discharge voltage, gas flow rate, and initial concentration playing key roles. The importance of these parameters is demonstrated when the power factor reaches 0.34 and the toluene degradation rate reaches 74.3% at a discharge voltage of 10 kV, gas flow rate of 70 mL/min, and initial concentration of 50 ppm.

Summary: This study examines the impact of low-carbon city construction on haze pollution in China using the VAR model and DID-PSM method. The results show that the construction of low-carbon cities has not effectively reduced haze pollution, and the ineffectiveness of technical innovation effect, industrial structure effect, and population quality effect, as well as regional heterogeneity, may be the reasons. Several recommendations for alleviating China's haze pollution through low-carbon city construction are proposed.

Summary: Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) is an inflammatory demyelinating disorder associated with upregulated osteopontin (OPN). This study found that downregulation of OPN alleviated demyelination and other pathological features, while increasing neurotrophic factors levels. Furthermore, OPN was shown to activate the IFN-γ/NF-kB/IL-12 signaling pathway, promoting microglia activation and contributing to the pathogenesis of NMO.

Summary: This study aims to investigate whether psychache mediates the relationship between recalled childhood maltreatment and suicide risk among college students, as well as whether meaning in life moderates this indirect path. The findings reveal that recalled childhood maltreatment is positively associated with suicide risk, with psychache partially mediating this relationship. Moreover, meaning in life moderates the association between psychache and suicide risk, indicating that higher levels of meaning in life weaken the impact of psychache on suicide risk. These findings highlight the importance of considering these risk and protective factors when assessing suicide risk and developing prevention and intervention strategies.

Summary: Validation of satellite albedo products commonly uses reference values obtained within the validation pixel's nominal spatial extent. However, geometric errors can cause geolocation mismatch, leading to large uncertainty in validation results. This study proposes a geometric location matching method to accurately establish the position of the validation pixel on a coarse pixel scale. The method significantly reduces the uncertainty and improves the accuracy of satellite albedo products.
