Complete genome sequence of Klebsiella pneumoniae J1, a protein-based microbial flocculant-producing bacterium

Klebsiellapneumoniae J1 is a Gram-negative strain, which belongs to a protein-based microbial flocculantproducing bacterium. However, little genetic information is known about this species. Here we carried out a whole-genome sequence analysis of this strain and report the complete genome sequence of this organism and its genetic basis for carbohydrate metabolism, capsule biosynthesis and transport system.
