Summary: The study aims to estimate the energy-saving intensities of nations in the European Union using various DEA analysis equations from 2010 to 2018. Different dynamic envelope evaluations were formulated to analyze the efficiency changes in energy usage among EU nations. Germany, Sweden, and Austria were found to have strong ecological safeguard performance and be more energy-efficient compared to other countries like Denmark, Belgium, Spain, France, and Ireland. On the other hand, some Eastern EU nations showed reduced efficiency marks due to lower technological implementation in key manufacturing sectors.

Summary: We developed a framework using Markov transition matrices to analyze the dynamics of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals in 20 EU Member States and across three sustainability dimensions over the period of 2011-2019. The results show significant progress in achieving sustainable development within the European Union, encompassing all dimensions of sustainability and all EU regions. However, variations in sustainability dynamics were detected across certain countries and dimensions. This can assist policymakers in identifying areas where greater emphasis should be placed to get global goals back on track.

Summary: The paper examines the shortrun and long-run dynamics between economic growth, financial inclusion initiatives, and ICT infrastructure development in 20 Indian states from 1991 to 2018. Using the Granger-causality technique, evidence of strong temporal causality between these variables in the short and long term is demonstrated. The empirical results suggest that careful coordination of ICT infrastructure development, financial inclusion initiatives, and economic growth strategies is crucial for sustainable economic development in these Indian states.

Summary: This research explores the impact of hydropower growth on fish supply in European Union Region nations from 1990 to 2019. The study finds that the growth in hydropower production reduces fish supply, while human population density and economic growth also contribute to the decline. On the other hand, institutional quality and expenditure increase fish species and numbers. The study suggests that boosting the quantity of hydropower production with operational procedures could effectively minimize fish supply in the European Union Region.

Summary: The impact of economic growth, forest zone, agricultural productivity, and energy consumption on environmental pollution in China was investigated using time series data. The research found that increasing agricultural production and forest growth can reduce long-term CO2 emissions, while energy use and population increase lead to an increase in CO2 emissions. By reducing carbon emissions, China may achieve sustainable development goals and mitigate global climate change.

Summary: Energy consumption efficiency is crucial in 2023 due to the global energy crisis. This study explores the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in the European Union, using correlation calculations and hierarchical cluster analysis. Data from 2010 to 2019 for EU Member States are analyzed. The results indicate a lack of strong correlation between GDP and energy consumption, and show that reduced energy consumption does not necessarily harm economic growth. The study also highlights methodological shortcomings in similar research.

Summary: The aim of this paper is to analyze the effects of digitalization on economic growth in the European Union. A econometric model with balanced panel data spanning from 2000 to 2021 is used. The main conclusion is that digitalization has a positive and significant impact on economic growth, even when controlling for various factors. The paper extends existing empirical research by examining digitalization in the entire EU and separately for old and new member states, which has not been done in previous literature. As a policy recommendation, the authors suggest implementing harmonized digitalization policies to support the new business model.

Summary: China has achieved remarkable success in sustaining high growth, transitioning from a command economy to a market economy. This study utilizes a new technique, the nonparametric directional distance function, to examine China's economic development and finds that capital and energy inputs contribute significantly to GDP growth. However, empirical evidence suggests that government-led growth, supported by desirable reforms, is more sustainable than capital-driven growth.

Summary: Our research investigates how Stakeholder Capitalism can contribute to global governance in achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a mixed study combining research synthesis, categorization, and network analysis, we found that Stakeholder Capitalism and its principles provide a favorable environment for the majority of SDGs and can particularly support SDGs 8, 9, and 17. However, further research is needed to address the limited literature on Stakeholder Capitalism's impact on SDGs 6, 14, and 15, specifically considering non-human stakeholders and the environment. We also discussed the linkage between Stakeholder Theory and Stakeholder Capitalism constructs, demonstrating their potential in achieving the SDGs.

Summary: This research analyzed 339 Portuguese companies that used tax incentives for R&D activities from 2013 to 2016, and assessed their behavior in terms of promoting and appropriating value through innovation. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the promotion and appropriation of value through innovation based on the size and age of companies. However, the averages of value appropriation indicators for intangible assets and the efficiencies of assets and liabilities varied according to the level of technological intensity. Therefore, there is a need to reevaluate tax incentives for R&D activities to meet the diverse innovation needs of different enterprises and their technological dynamics.

Summary: SMEs play a significant role in global corporations, and their collective impact on sustainability is substantial even though their individual emissions may be smaller. This research investigates the influence of the founder's values on a company's sustainability across social, environmental, and economic dimensions. Using the Agency Theory as a framework, an exploratory case study was conducted to analyze qualitative data. The findings highlight the influence of inherent values, such as Veganism, Ethical Drive, and Ecological Consciousness, on the environmental and economic sustainability of the company. Furthermore, the match between the founder and company's values contributes to the growth of sustainability in various dimensions. This research emphasizes the importance of translating inherent values into sustainable practices in the private sector.
