The results showed that there was a higher increase in total spike antibody, IgG, and neutralizing antibody levels after booster dosing. However, the peak antibody titer of IgM was lower. From 180-210 days after the second or third vaccination, the levels of total spike antibody, IgG, and neutralizing antibody decreased, with longer half-lives for IgG and neutralizing antibodies after the third vaccination.

About 25% of patients had negative IgG antinucleocapsid serology after 6 months, while most patients maintained antispike antibodies.

Genomic sequencing revealed connections between seemingly unrelated outbreaks and confirmed secondary human infections. The study also identified a regional connection between bovine and endemic human brucellosis cases, suggesting a common reservoir in local small ruminant herds.
