Improvements in various secondary endpoints were seen after 12 weeks of treatment and maintained through 52 weeks.

Adalimumab and infliximab survival in patients with hidradenitis suppurativa: a daily practice cohort study

Summary: This study evaluated the drug survival of antitumour necrosis factor biologics for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa in daily practice. Survival rates for adalimumab and infliximab were similar at 12 months, mainly determined by ineffectiveness. Age, disease duration (adalimumab), and surgery (infliximab) were identified as predictors for longer drug survival.

Drug Survival of Oral Retinoids in Hidradenitis Suppurativa: A Real-Life Cohort Study

Summary: Cohort studies on the use of retinoids for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) have yielded conflicting results. This study aimed to evaluate the drug survival of oral retinoids in the treatment of HS and establish predictors for longer treatment duration. The overall drug survival rates for isotretinoin and acitretin were similar at 12 months, with termination of treatment mainly due to ineffectiveness. Patients with widespread comedones and the scarring folliculitis phenotype may benefit from treatment with isotretinoin or acitretin, respectively.

Summary: In this study, the tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) were characterized in 20 cases of primary cutaneous B-cell lymphoma (PCBCL). It was found that TILs were sparsely intermingled within tumor infiltrate in aggressive PCBCL and were scattered around tumor nodule edges in indolent PCBCL. The abundance of proliferative TILs was associated with better progression-free survival in aggressive PCBCL.

Comparison of molecular and serological assays on cerebrospinal fluid for the diagnosis of neurosyphilis

Summary: This study evaluated different molecular and serological assays used in neurosyphilis (NS) diagnosis and found that there is no "gold standard" method. A combination of clinical and biological parameters, combining PCR and serology in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), is a feasible approach for NS diagnosis.

Summary: This study investigated the treatment modifications and COVID-19 infection incidence among psoriasis patients in France during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results found that discontinuation or reduction of treatment was associated with a higher rate of disease flares, and the risk of COVID-19 infection was related to close contact with infected individuals and living in areas with a high incidence of COVID-19. Therefore, it is important to maintain and adapt patient-physician communication during crises to avoid unnecessary treatment interruptions and inform patients about the risk of infection and the importance of hygiene rules.
