Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic and economic emergencies have led to increased public spending and global debt. Economic recovery presents an opportunity to rebuild natural capital and achieve long-term societal benefit. However, current decision-making prioritizes economic imperatives and overlooks society's reliance on natural capital and ecosystem services. New international standards for natural capital accounting (NCA) integrate environmental information into government decision-making, enabling the identification, implementation, and monitoring of green recovery pathways.

Summary: Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, it has also provided opportunities for promoting green supply chain management and sustainable environmental performance by generating interest in cleaner production and sustainable business practices. This study examines the connection between the pandemic's uncertainty-anxiety, green supply chain management, and sustainable environmental performance, while also exploring the moderating effect of innovative technologies like big data analysis capabilities and blockchain technologies. The findings suggest that the uncertainty-anxiety of the pandemic positively impacts green supply chain management, with big data analysis capabilities moderating this relationship. However, blockchain technologies do not moderate this direct link. Additionally, green supply chain management has a positive effect on a firm's sustainable environmental performance. These results have significant implications for the management of SMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic and contribute to existing theories on the positive influence of uncertainty-anxiety on green supply chain practices and the moderating effect of innovative technologies.

Summary: This study explores the impact of GDP per capita on the Gini index, a measure of income concentration, in Colombia. It employs an econometric analysis of time series data sourced from the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank. The findings indicate that, at least during the period under scrutiny, there is no evidence to support the view that GDP per capita serves as an explanatory variable for income distribution patterns in Colombia. The results also concur with the notion that the issue of income inequality goes beyond economic factors and encompasses persistent matters such as politics and history.
