Summary: This cross-sectional study found differences and consistencies in symptomatic adverse event (AE) assessment between nurses and physicians. The Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) was used by both nurses and physicians, while patients self-reported their AEs using the Patient-Reported Outcomes Version of the CTCAE (PRO-CTCAE). The study revealed that nurses were more likely to detect AEs than physicians, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.001). There was no difference in toxicity grade reported by nurses and physicians, except for fatigue. The study highlights the importance of establishing a collaborative approach between nurses and physicians for consistent symptom management.

Summary: This commentary critiques the proposal to rename and reframe accent modification in the article "A Viewpoint on Accent Services: Framing and Terminology Matter." The authors argue that the lack of criticality in the proposed changes hinder the progress towards equitable, culturally sustaining, and emancipatory practices. The analysis identifies major gaps in criticality, reflexivity, practice, and vision, highlighting the need for a serious and critical interrogation of accent practices.

Summary: Reliability is often analyzed in a formulaic manner without critically appraising the magnitude of measurements in health science. The relationship between clinical relevance and measurement reliability is often overlooked. This article provides an overview of reliability study design, analysis, interpretation, and its relationship to clinical significance in pain research.

Summary: Bone mineral density measurement and FRAX assessment tools can help evaluate fracture risk and guide decisions for osteoporosis pharmacologic treatment. Specific populations like postmenopausal women and men over 50 should receive pharmacologic treatment according to guidelines. Monitoring BMD regularly and considering secondary causes or non-compliance is important during treatment.

Summary: This study developed a newly formulated linoleic acid transferosome containing syringic acid as a promising nano-form remedy for acne treatment. The optimized formula showed stable vesicles with small size, negative surface charge, high antioxidant activity, and significant skin deposition. Clinical assessment demonstrated that the transferosomes effectively reduced acne lesions in patients, outperforming the marketed product. Importantly, no irritation or erythema was observed with the proposed transferosomes. This research highlights the potential advantages of such vesicles in cosmetic formulation.

Summary: Assessment of fibrinolytic status can help identify individuals at risk of occlusive thrombus formation and provide prognostic information. Studies have shown that patients with impaired fibrinolytic status have a higher risk of adverse cardiovascular events despite treatment for ACS. Fibrinolytic function assays may play a significant role in predicting future thrombotic events.

Summary: This study aims to estimate the minimal clinically important difference (MCID) for clinically relevant outcome measures in individuals with Stages 2 or 3 Huntington's disease. By analyzing data from a large global longitudinal study, the study found that MCID estimates increased with disease progression and longer time frames. These estimates can improve the clinical interpretation of study outcomes and support clinical decision-making and trial methodology.

Summary: This study characterized the surface roughness of four different surfaces of the Biomill product using the surface topography method. The results showed that the Ra values of the conventional liner were between the Ra values of STANDARD and FAST surfaces, and the FAST surface had a significantly shorter processing time compared to the STANDARD surface. These findings can guide prosthetists in producing suitable sockets according to different requirements.

Summary: The study aimed to analyze the margins of lentigo maligna (LM) using reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) and histopathology, determine the association of histological distance of LM from surgical margins with multi-recurrent disease, and identify features associated with multi-recurrent LM. Results showed that more florid features in multi-recurrent patients suggest the innate biology of the lesion plays a role in recurrence.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate different skin reconstruction methods and their long-term results. The results showed that local random flaps had better skin quality outcomes compared to skin autografts, suggesting that local random flaps should be prioritized in facial defect reconstruction.

Summary: This letter comments on a recent article that claimed a complex hydrogel formulation of thiamine nanospheres is an effective topical insect repellent. However, the authors did not thoroughly review prior literature that found no evidence of repellency for thiamine. Additionally, the experiment described lacked negative controls, making the results inconclusive.
