Summary: To mimic the native extracellular matrix (ECM), a novel electrospun wound dressing based on chitosan and polyethylene oxide was prepared using pluronic F127 and mesoporous rod-like hydroxyapatite nano-particles (mr-HAP NPs). F127 acted as a surface tension regulator and reduced the nanofiber size, while mr-HAP NPs accelerated cell proliferation and improved mechanical properties and water uptake capacity. The incorporation of mr-HAP NPs increased the water uptake capacity by more than 2.5 times, leading to enhanced wound healing efficacy and tissue development. This study scores 8 out of 10 in terms of importance.

Summary: This study explores the potential clinical application of hADSCs-Exos encapsulated in PF-127 hydrogel for wound healing. The results showed that PF-127/hADSCs-Exos complexes enhanced skin wound healing, promoted re-epithelialization, increased collagen synthesis and expression of skin barrier proteins, and reduced inflammation. Using PF-127/hADSCs-Exos complexes allows for lower doses and frequency of exosome administration while maintaining therapeutic effects.

Summary: The thermoresponsive Pluronic (R) F127 (PL) gel's rheological behavior in water was investigated in different shear conditions. The gel strength was adjusted by adding 1% polysaccharide solution. The presence of xanthan gum improved the viscoelastic properties of PL-based hydrogels in aqueous environment, and PL micellar networks showed self-healing ability. The addition of 1% polysaccharide induced temperature-responsive hydrogels with shear thinning behavior, yield stress, and self-healing ability, making them versatile for injectable biomaterials or bioinks.
