Summary: EMT plays a crucial role in the aggressiveness and metastasis of gastric cancer, especially in the infiltration of NK cells into tumor cells. Vinculin expression is closely related to cancer aggressiveness and distant metastasis, affecting patient survival prognosis. Additionally, VCL can influence EMT and tumor immunity by regulating EPCAM gene expression.

Summary: TCLlnc1 is overexpressed in gastric cancer tissues and plasma. Plasma TCLlnc1 is closely correlated with TCLlnc1 in gastric cancer tissues and has a good diagnostic value for early-stage gastric cancer. Increased accumulation of TCLlnc1 is closely correlated with distant recurrence and poor survival.

Summary: In this study, the association between phosphorylated S6 (p-S6) protein expression and lymph node metastasis (LNM) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) was investigated. The results showed that p-S6 expression was increased in NSCLC with LNM and was also associated with poor prognosis.

Summary: ATP2A1 is a potential prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer, with high expression associated with significantly lower overall survival rates. Inhibiting the autophagy process by ATP2A1 can significantly suppress the proliferation of colorectal cancer cells.

Summary: The study indicates that PDIA5 is highly expressed in gliomas, associated with aggressive tumors and poor clinical outcomes, positively correlated with immune infiltrating cells and immune-related pathways, and patients with high PDIA5 expression benefit from immunotherapies.

Summary: This study found that high pre-treatment LAR levels were significantly associated with poor prognosis in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), particularly in terms of distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS). LAR can serve as a predictive biomarker for NPC patients.

Summary: In this study, immunohistochemical analysis of 342 gastric cancer cases revealed that approximately half of the samples showed aberrant expression of CDH11 in gastric cancer cells. The aberrant expression of CDH11 was statistically associated with bone metastasis, as well as liver and distant lymph node metastasis. Therefore, aberrant CDH11 expression in gastric cancer cells can serve as a predictive biomarker for distant metastasis.

Summary: The aim of this study was to identify specific magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) patterns at the macro-metastasis/brain parenchyma interface (MMPI) in patients with brain metastases (BM) and to correlate these patterns with patient outcome. The results showed that patients with a breakout pattern had a highly aggressive clinical course, indicating a need for more aggressive treatment strategies.

Summary: The study found that EPYC expression in ovarian cancer increases with disease progression, and interfering with EPYC expression can weaken the migration, invasion, and proliferation abilities of SKOV3 cells. EPYC is mainly involved in ECM organization and signal transduction pathways such as PI3K/Akt and focal adhesion, and may interact with proteins like PLCG2 and CRK.

Summary: A signature containing CD74 and TSPAN7 genes was developed to predict the risk of distant metastasis in breast cancer patients. This signature is related to immune cell infiltration and can serve as an independent predictive factor. An individualized prediction model based on this signature was constructed, which effectively predicts the metastatic risk in breast cancer patients.
