Granulocytic Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cell Exosomal Prostaglandin E2 Ameliorates Collagen-Induced Arthritis by Enhancing IL-10+ B Cells

The results of recent studies have shown that granulocytic-myeloid derived suppressor cells (G-MDSCs) can secrete exosomes that transport various biologically active molecules with regulatory effects on immune cells. However, their roles in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis remain to be further elucidated. In the present study, we investigated the influence of exosomes from G-MDSCs on the humoral immune response in murine collagen-induced arthritis (CIA). G-MDSCs exosomes-treated mice showed lower arthritis index values and decreased inflammatory cell infiltration. Treatment with G-MDSCs exosomes promoted splenic B cells to secrete IL-10 both in vivo and in vitro. In addition, a decrease in the proportion of plasma cells and follicular helper T cells was observed in drainage lymph nodes from G-MDSCs exosomes-treated mice. Moreover, lower serum levels of IgG were detected in G-MDSCs exosomes-treated mice, indicating an alteration of the humoral environment. Mechanistic studies showed that exosomal prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) produced by G-MDSCs upregulated the phosphorylation levels of GSK-3 beta and CREB, which play a key role in the production of IL-10(+) B cells. Taken together, our findings demonstrated that G-MDSC exosomal PGE2 attenuates CIA in mice by promoting the generation of IL-10(+) Breg cells.

Strong Cube Texture Formation in Heavily Cold-Rolled Ni8W/Ni12W/Ni8W Composite Alloy Substrates Used in YBCO Coated Conductors

Summary: By heavy cold rolling and annealing processes, three types of Ni8W/Ni12W/Ni8W composite substrates with strong cube texture, high yield strength, and low magnetization were successfully produced. The presence of Ni alloys with higher W content in the Ni-12 at%W layer enhanced the mechanical properties and decreased the ferromagnetic behavior of the substrates. Additionally, an area that enhances cubic nucleation and growth in the Ni8W layer of composite substrates was identified.

A Study about Ni-8 at % W Alloy Substrates Used for REBCO Coated Conductors

Summary: The study shows that the microstructure, cold-rolling texture, and recrystallization texture of Ni-8 at % W alloy are significantly influenced by the initial grain size. The cold-rolled tape mainly consists of S, brass, and a weak {110} <118> texture. Large-scale twinning is exhibited in the cold-rolled microstructure at a high annealing temperature, and cube orientation and RD-cube orientation grains grow faster than other orientation grains.

Anlotinib for the Treatment of Multiple Recurrent Lumbar and Sacral Cord Hemangioblastomas: A Case Report

ITGB4 Deficiency in Airway Epithelium Aggravates RSV Infection and Increases HDM Sensitivity

Summary: In this study, the involvement of ITGB4 in RSV infection and its effect on airway epithelial anti-RSV responses were investigated. The results showed that ITGB4 expression decreased during RSV infection, and ITGB4 deficiency worsened RSV infection and increased sensitivity to allergens in later life. Furthermore, it was found that IFN-λ suppression during RSV infection in ITGB4 deficient airway epithelial cells was regulated by IRF-1 through the phosphorylation of EGFR.

Feasible evolution process of tensile property dominant effect factor in annealed high purity nickel by a combination of in situ tensile technique and EBSD

Summary: Multiple factors, such as crystallographic orientation, twins, dislocation, and grain size, significantly affect the tensile properties of alloys, but identifying the dominant factor is difficult. To overcome this limitation, a combination of in situ tensile technique and electron backscattering diffraction (EBSD) was used to analyze the dominant factors affecting the tensile properties of pure nickel. This study confirmed that the grain size of pure nickel is the most significant factor influencing its tensile properties.

Treatment with pyrotinib-based therapy in lapatinib-resistant HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer: a multicenter real-world study

Summary: This study evaluated the efficacy of pyrotinib-based therapy in lapatinib-resistant HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. The results showed that pyrotinib has the potential to improve survival in these patients. Additionally, patients who benefited from lapatinib prior to treatment may experience a longer progression-free survival with pyrotinib.
