A chemical precipitation and hydrothermal method was utilized to synthesize Ag/ZnO/AgO/TiO2 composite. The microstructure and morphology trait of the composite were investigated, and the photocatalytic activity was assessed under UV-vis light irradiation. The results indicated that the Ag, AgO, TiO2 and ZnO were coexisted in the Ag/ZnO/AgO/TiO2 composite, and then each element uniform distributed. The RhB degradation efficiency via the composite got to 99.3% at 100 min. Ag modification and the heterojunction of the composite could be contribute to trap and transfer the electrons, resulting in lengthening a longer lifetime of charges, and strengthened photocatalytic ability the Ag/ZnO/AgO/TiO2 composite.
