Thermal expansion of martensite in Ti29.7Ni50.3Hf20 alloy was investigated by in situ neutron diffraction. It is found that the martensite exhibits a strong anisotropy in thermal expansion. The principal crystallographic axes and the coefficients of thermal expansion were determined.
