Summary: The study found that during quarantine, adolescents experienced a decrease in perception of psychological and physical well-being, mood/emotion, autonomy, and financial resources compared to normal conditions. Relationships with family and peers, as well as perception of bullying, also decreased. Adolescents showed higher adherence to the Mediterranean diet during quarantine. Adolescents living in villages experienced greater reductions in autonomy and peer relationships, while gender had an effect on psychological and physical well-being, mood/emotion, and self-perception.

Summary: This study examines the association between quarantine duration and psychological outcomes, social distancing, and vaccination intention during the second outbreak of COVID-19 in China. The findings suggest that longer quarantine duration is associated with increased social distancing, increased psychological distress, and decreased wellbeing. Quarantine for 1-7 days is associated with increased vaccination intention.

This study found that various factors such as socioeconomics, transport supply, health concerns, and travel purposes significantly influenced the mode choices of essential travel. In the post-pandemic era, the concept of essential travel will have profound implications on transportation policy making, especially in improving the fundamental welfare of disadvantaged populations.
