Summary: This study utilized The Cancer Genome Atlas and Reactome databases to retrieve ovarian cancer (OC)-related data and identify mitophagy-related long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). A prognostic lncRNA signature was constructed to estimate OC prognosis and therapeutic response. The signature showed that patients in the high-risk group had a poorer prognosis, and a ceRNA network was constructed to explore the potential regulatory mechanisms of lncRNAs.

Summary: Gastric cancer is a global health problem with high mortality, and its incidence varies significantly across different regions. The interaction between Helicobacter pylori infection and epigenetics plays a crucial role in the occurrence of gastric cancer. Antisense long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been found to be closely associated with various aspects of gastric cancer. However, a comprehensive compilation and discussion of diverse antisense lncRNAs in gastric cancer is lacking. This review focuses on summarizing the predisposing factors, the interaction between H. pylori and epigenetics in gastric cancer, and the underlying molecular mechanisms and regulatory roles of each antisense lncRNA. Additionally, new insights into the potential diagnosis and treatment of antisense lncRNAs in gastric cancer are provided.

Summary: This article reviews the important role of m6A modification in the development of pancreatic cancer and its molecular mechanism. It has been found that abnormal m6A modification exists in pancreatic cancer tissues and cell lines, and abnormal expressions of m6A regulators and m6A-modified genes are associated with the malignant progression of pancreatic cancer. These findings have potential applications in the clinical diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutics of pancreatic cancer.

Summary: Oral cancer is a significant public health concern with a negative impact on society. Despite advancements in treatment, the survival rate for oral cancer remains low, and the underlying molecular mechanisms of OSCC carcinogenesis are not fully understood. Noncoding RNAs, such as microRNAs and long ncRNAs, play important roles in cancer cell development. Understanding the relationship between ncRNAs and different types of cell death is essential. Manipulating ncRNA expression offers potential for controlling the occurrence and development of oral cancer. This review aims to explore the impact of ncRNAs on cell death and identify potential targets for oral cancer therapy.

Summary: Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women worldwide, with mortality rates in the United States stagnant in recent years despite earlier diagnosis and treatment improvements. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a significant role in breast cancer, particularly in the hypoxic response of cancer cells, which may contribute to tumoral progression. This review summarizes the role of hypoxia-associated lncRNAs in cancer hallmarks, their effects on hypoxia signaling pathway, and their potential as diagnostic and prognostic tools.

Summary: Malignant pancreatic tumors have aggressive behavior and poor prognosis, requiring prompt surgical treatment. This case report describes a patient who was found to have duodenal lesions during routine gastroscopic examination, and further examination revealed pancreatic lesions and multiple accessory spleens. The postoperative pathological diagnosis indicated an intrapancreatic accessory spleen, highlighting the need for more accurate diagnostic methods to avoid unnecessary surgery.
