In the current research, poly (aniline-co-pyrrole)@ZnO (PANCP@ZnO) nanocomposite was fabricated via the solvent casting technique. Subsequently, nanofluid based on PANCP @ ZnO was prepared via the two-step process. FTIR, FESEM/EDX, XRD, and TGA analysis were employed for the characterization of the materials. Additionally, UV-Vis spectroscopy employed for studying the optical properties of materials. Nonlinear optical studies were carried out by using the open-aperture and close-aperture Z-scan technique in continuous wave mode at 532 nm. The optical properties of PANCP@ZnO nanofluid were changed with varying concentrations and laser intensity. The results showed the PANCP had self-focusing and reverse saturation absorption natures in some intensities and concentrations while the PANCP@ZnO nanofluid had only self-defocusing and reverse saturation absorption natures. Consequently, the PANCP@ZnO nanofluid may be used to protect the eyes and optical instruments against high-intensity laser. Additionally, it is an excellent candidate for use in nonlinear optical device applications.
