We investigate general features of the evolution of holographic subregion complexity (HSC) on Vaidya-AdS metric with a general form. The spacetime is dual to a sudden quench process in quantum system and HSC is a measure of the difference between two mixed states. Based on the subregion CV (Complexity equals Volume) conjecture and in the large size limit, we extract out three distinct stages during the evolution of HSC: the stage of linear growth at the early time, the stage of linear growth with a slightly small rate during the intermediate time and the stage of linear decrease at the late time. The growth rates of the first two stages are compared with the Lloyd bound. We find that with some choices of certain parameter, the Lloyd bound is always saturated at the early time, while at the intermediate stage, the growth rate is always less than the Lloyd bound. Moreover, the fact that the behavior of CV conjecture and its version of the subregion in Vaidya spacetime implies that they are different even in the large size limit.

Instability of regularized 4D charged Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet de-Sitter black holes

Peng Liu, Chao Niu, Cheng-Yong Zhang

Summary: The study focused on the instability of regularized 4D charged Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet de-Sitter black holes under charged scalar perturbations. It was found that unstable modes satisfy the superradiant condition, but not all modes satisfying this condition are unstable. The instability occurs when the cosmological constant is small and the black hole charge is not too large.

Entanglement wedge minimum cross-section in holographic massive gravity theory

Peng Liu, Chao Niu, Zi-Jian Shi, Cheng-Yong Zhang

Summary: In the holographic massive gravity theory, the entanglement wedge cross-section (EWCS) and mutual information (MI) exhibit opposite behaviors in the critical region, indicating that EWCS captures different degrees of freedom from MI. Furthermore, EWCS, MI, and HEE show the same scaling behavior in the critical region. We provide an analytical understanding of this phenomenon, as well as two mechanisms of quantum information scaling behavior in the thermodynamic phase transition by comparing the behavior in holographic superconductors.

Dynamical scalarization in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory

Summary: This study investigates the process of fully nonlinear dynamical scalarization, starting from a charged black hole or a naked singularity in the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory. The results show that the formation of a hairy black hole is independent of the coupling parameter, and a hairy black hole evolved from a naked singularity exhibits rich structures.

Evolution of anti-de Sitter black holes in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory

Cheng-Yong Zhang, Peng Liu, Yunqi Liu, Chao Niu, Bin Wang

Summary: The study focused on the nonlinear evolution of spherically symmetric charged black holes in asymptotic anti-de Sitter spacetime under a small neutral scalar field perturbation in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory with a coupling function f(phi) = e(-b phi). The nonminimal coupling between scalar and Maxwell fields allows energy transmission, acting as both attractive and repulsive forces for the scalar. The irreducible mass of the black hole increases abruptly at initial times, saturating to a final value exponentially, with the saturating rate being twice the decaying rate of the dominant mode of the scalar.

Summary: The study focuses on the fully nonlinear dynamics of spherically symmetric black hole spontaneous scalarization in Einstein-Maxwell-scalar theory. It is found that by adjusting the coupling function and black hole charge, the development and stabilization of hairy black holes can be influenced.
