Summary: This study aimed to analyze the concept of hypertension literacy to ensure clarity, reduce ambiguities, and promote consistency in usage. Using Walker and Avant's concept analysis method, four electronic databases were searched using keywords combined with appropriate Boolean operators. Through a convergent synthesis design to integrate results and transform them into qualitative descriptions, the defining attributes, antecedents, and consequences of hypertension literacy were identified. Hypertension literacy allows nurses to assess and improve knowledge accurately and facilitate people in adopting prevention behaviors.

Summary: This study aimed to identify the attributes and characteristics of the positive component of Mental Health Literacy (PMeHL) and explore its theoretical and practical applications. The study found that PMeHL is considered a component of Mental Health Literacy and includes attributes such as problem-solving skills, personal satisfaction, autonomy, interpersonal relationship skills, self-control, and a prosocial attitude. Understanding the antecedents and consequences of PMeHL can help improve mental health and promote healthy behaviors. Therefore, it is important to prioritize primary research focused on nursing interventions that enhance and sustain PMeHL in individuals and families.

Summary: Developing health literacy from an early age is important, and schools can play a crucial role in this development. Evidence suggests that integrating health literacy into schools can have positive effects on both health and education outcomes, but it is often not sufficiently included in the curriculum due to existing educational requirements. Providing a sensitive approach and highlighting the benefits of health literacy can help in successfully integrating it into schools, especially by linking it to existing curricular requirements such as media literacy and digital literacy.

Summary: The study investigated the differences in physical literacy (PL) between physical education (PE) and classroom teachers based on their experience level and gender. Results showed that PE teachers had higher PL scores than classroom teachers, and teachers with 16-20 years of experience had lower scores in self-confidence and communication. This highlights the importance of improving teacher training programs to enhance both PL comprehension and PE quality.

The findings reveal common discourses of idealism, neoliberalism, healthism, and individualism across the policies, reinforcing deficit language and a focus on what learners lack. The paper emphasizes the importance of examining discourses and voices within curriculum policy documents, making educational and health politics visible, and encouraging critical consciousness related to policy.

Summary: Physical Literacy (PL) is a concept enduring controversy, as multiple actors disagree on its definition and there is shared uncertainty around it. This paper maps the controversial state of PL as presented by different actors on the scholarly web, analyzing 77 scholarly articles to observe and describe the network of actors involved in the PL controversy. The findings reveal four clusters of actors invested in different ideologies of what PL should be, leading to overlapping yet contested framings of PL on the scholarly web. The implication is that PL flows in many directions and is understood/utilized differently across clusters of actors.

Summary: This article, based on qualitative fieldwork, examines how the involvement of Hazara men in the ethno-specific informal sport of sangarag influences their (non)belonging experiences in Australia. The findings highlight the role of sangarag as a response to challenging settlement journeys and the reinforcement of intra-group differentiations. The marginal status of sangarag within the Australian sports system leads to feelings of unsupported and misrecognition among participants. Policy implications include the recognition and support of informal sports for migrants' sense of belonging and well-being.

Summary: This study examines the visibility and representation of older adults across Victorian, Australian aquatic and leisure facility websites. The findings show that older adults are visually underrepresented on these websites, and when they are represented, it often includes language and content that can be seen as stereotyping and ageist. This ageism and stereotyping can limit older adults' engagement with these facilities and their potential for health promotion. The research suggests strategies to eliminate visual ageism in advertising, such as designing for dynamic diversity and involving older adults in the design process.

Utilizing a critical discourse analysis approach, the study examined physical activity policy documents from 16 local government areas in Victoria, Australia, and conducted interviews with local government employees responsible for developing these policies. The findings suggest that ageism is prevalent in local government policies, leading to the perpetuation of stereotypes about older adults. However, it was also found that older adults make significant contributions to the community through paid employment, caregiving roles, and volunteering.
