Summary: Liposomes and red blood cell-derived nanovesicles are two ideal drug delivery vehicles. Liposomes, conjugated with PEG, have been used in several nano-medicines on the market, while nanovesicles derived from red blood cells may not stimulate the immune system due to the presence of self-recognition markers. However, a direct comparison between the two is still lacking.

Summary: This research evaluates the use of spanlastic nanogel for transdermal delivery of raloxifene to improve its bioavailability and manage osteoporosis. The nanogel exhibited suitable viscosity and spreadability for transdermal application, and it did not cause skin irritation. The transdermal administration of the nanogel showed significantly higher bioavailability compared to oral administration, without any toxic effects. Therefore, spanlastic nanogel could be a better approach for delivering raloxifene via transdermal route to treat osteoporosis.

Summary: The study found that biological therapies may provide short-term efficacy for moderate-to-severe psoriasis in children. The probability of achieving PASI 75 and PASI 90 was higher for IL-12/23 and IL-17 inhibitors, with a more favorable NNT. Therefore, these systemic drugs may be beneficial for treating plaque psoriasis in children and adolescents.

Summary: The study showed that combined fractional CO2 laser with topical tazarotene was more effective in treating nail psoriasis compared to tazarotene monotherapy, especially in improving nail bed lesions. Both treatments significantly improved the severity of nail lesions, with the combined therapy showing greater efficacy for nail bed signs and faster improvement of nail matrix signs. Patient global assessment scores were significantly higher after the combined therapy, and both treatments were well tolerated.
