Summary: The purpose of the study was to verify the accuracy of dental models fabricated using FDM and PLA in order to reduce industrial waste. Different types of models were compared for marginal fit, and the results showed that the FDM and PLA models were not significantly different from the other models, except at one specific point. The combination of FDM and PLA may be useful in future dental treatments.

Summary: A dual-temperature control method is proposed to improve the printability of three-dimensional (3D) printing. By using dual-temperature control, the width of the deposited poly(epsilon-caprolactone) filament is reduced to 50 μm. Both experimental and numerical simulation results indicate that the dual-temperature control fused deposition modeling (FDM) has promising applications in tissue engineering.

Summary: The demand for accessible and affordable microfluidic devices has led to the development of new manufacturing methods like 3D printing to replace traditional techniques. Through fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing, microfluidic micromixers were created to address the challenge of enhancing the mixing process in microfluidic devices. A design of experiment demonstrated the impact of different parameters on mixing performance in printed devices, showing the inherent property of ridges formed on microchannels due to the FFF process.
