Summary: This study examined the challenges faced by Arab immigrants in adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors and managing stress related to acculturation and religiosity. Through face-to-face focus group discussions with Arab health promoters in Canada, it was found that certain religious or cultural beliefs may hinder physical activity, particularly for women and older individuals. However, religiosity can also play an important indirect role in stress management through socialization, family support, and coping strategies. Younger people in Arab communities appear to be more flexible in dealing with religious and cultural issues.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rapid change in the way physiotherapy services are delivered, with a significant increase in the implementation of telerehabilitation. This study aimed to identify the barriers and facilitators of telerehabilitation clinical implementation by examining the experiences of Canadian physiotherapists during the initial wave of the pandemic. The results showed that while physiotherapists enjoyed and found telerehabilitation useful, limited access to implementation evidence, a reduced hands-on approach, and a lack of validated remote assessments were reported as barriers.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the experiences and needs of Indigenous cancer survivors in Canada, highlighting their unique challenges and strengths in cancer care and advocating for culturally safe and individualized support. Using participatory arts-based methods, 87 participants from five communities collaborated to create a video discussing themes of spirituality and ceremony, finding strength together, the land and nature, creating and sharing, and navigating health care. Participants' feedback on the video supports its use as a knowledge translation tool to promote meaningful dialogue about the cancer experiences of Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Summary: This review highlights a recent increase in research on leisure-time physical activity in advanced cancer, particularly in studies examining exercise interventions using traditional quantitative methods. There is still limited understanding of patient experiences and perceptions towards LPA, as well as little knowledge about other leisure activities for this population. Further research is needed to address the gaps in the current literature and develop personalized, evidence-based supportive care strategies in cancer care.
