Summary: This study focuses on the spatial distribution and related factors of Chinese community gardens using kernel density estimation and overlay analysis methods. The results indicate that the spatial distribution of community gardens in China varies by region and is correlated with precipitation, temperature, and policy. There are similarities and differences in the patterns of different types of community gardens. The perceived benefits for social, ecological, and health aspects are higher than economic benefits, and the recognized barriers include lack of design and technology, rational management, effective operation, and institutional constraints.

Summary: This study aimed to identify the perceived barriers to maintaining physical activity among adults in three major cities of Bangladesh and their association with mental health status. The study found significant associations between perceived physical activity scores and factors such as gender, family type, occupation, income, BMI, anxiety, and depression. To mitigate physical activity barriers, it is important to ensure a safe environment, provide low-cost exercise facilities, improve road and traffic conditions, and offer appropriate mental health counseling.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the structural relationship between perceived participation and autonomy among older adults with stroke and hypertension in home and community-based services (HCBSs) in the eastern coastal region of China. A total of 714 respondents with stroke and hypertension were analyzed, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify the factors influencing perceived participation and autonomy. The results showed that age, marital status, health insurance, living status, number of children, chronic diseases, sleep time, frequency of outings, and health utility value were significant factors affecting perceived participation and autonomy.

Summary: This study explored the relationship between walking measurements and social participation in ambulatory people with chronic stroke. The results showed significant positive correlations between all walking measures (walking speed, walking performance, and walking confidence) and social participation. Regression analysis further revealed that walking confidence and perceived locomotion ability explained the variance in participation. Clinicians should consider evaluating real-life performance and personal factors in assessing community participation after stroke.
