Summary: A wavelet-based method using a sequence of static images to retrieve bathymetry is proposed. The method generates synthetic images and uses spectral analysis to estimate wave periods, wavelengths, and water depths. The results are validated with model's bathymetry and real case simulations, showing robustness and accuracy in reproducing bathymetry.

Summary: This work proposes a reliable and blind watermarking method for securing medical images exchanged in telemedicine. Medical image watermarking enables accurate patient identification, prevents scan confusion, and minimizes the risk of diagnostic mistakes. The suggested approaches effectively retain a considerable quality of watermarked images, according to experimental results on imperceptibility and robustness, and are resistant against various common attacks.

Summary: I developed a novel image processing method using a concentric mother wavelet inspired by wavelet transform. This method is effective for filtering noise, extracting features, enhancing images, and other applications, particularly for images with low spatial frequencies. Unlike Fourier filtering, the proposed method does not require mask setting, making it easier for filtering small-sized images. By preparing concentric mother wavelets of different frequencies in advance and calculating the cross-correlation between the input image and these wavelets, reconstruction or image processing can be easily performed. The present method has the potential to aid image processing related to material analysis.

Summary: In order to improve the security of image encryption, a two-dimensional Fibonacci combined with cubic and sine map (2D-FCSM) and a pseudo-wavelet transform (PWT) are designed. The proposed image encryption algorithm using 2D-FCSM and PWT shows desirable encryption effect, strong security, and high encryption efficiency.

Summary: In this paper, a novel scheme for quantum image watermarking based on NEQR is proposed, which can embed a 2(n-1) x 2(n-1) binary watermark image into a 2(n) x 2(n) grayscale carrier image. The embedded image is highly consistent with the carrier image after restoration by only embedding the least significant bits of the diagonal details of the carrier image with the watermark information. The proposed watermarking method is confirmed to be invisible and robust through simulation techniques.

Summary: We investigate the recovery of square-integrable signals from the absolute values of their wavelet transforms, referred to as wavelet phase retrieval. We introduce a novel uniqueness result for wavelet phase retrieval, demonstrating that any wavelet with a finite number of vanishing moments can uniquely recover real-valued bandlimited signals, albeit without determining the exact global sign. Furthermore, we present the first uniqueness result for sampled wavelet phase retrieval using complex-valued wavelets, and a uniqueness result for phase retrieval from sampled Cauchy wavelet transform measurements.

Summary: This study proposes a progressive hyperspectral destriping method with an adaptive frequency focus for accurate destriping and delicate restoration. The method encodes the degraded input to the frequency domain with smaller scales and separates noise and preserves details in the high-frequency domain. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over the current state-of-the-art methods.
