Summary: The Chemiluminescence (CL) method combined with the flow-injection (FI) technique is an attractive alternative for pharmaceutical analysis. A highly sensitive flow injection CL method was developed for the determination of mitoxantrone, with a linear range of 8.0 x 10(-10)-5.0 x 10(-7) g/mL and a detection limit of 1.9 x 10(-10) g/mL. The method showed good reproducibility and was successfully applied to pharmaceutical preparation and serum samples.

Summary: A simple and sensitive flow injection chemiluminescence method was developed for the determination of cefixime trihydrate. The chemiluminescence of luminol-diperiodatoargentate(III) in an alkaline solution was enhanced by cefixime trihydrate, allowing for a linear detection range and low limits of detection and quantification. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of pharmaceutical samples containing cefixime trihydrate.

Summary: The use of nanoreactors formulated by two surfactants in water is crucial for sustainable organic synthesis. In this study, nanomicelles formulated by cationic CPC and nonionic Brij-35 were found to efficiently catalyze the oxidation of unsaturated alcohol. The reaction rate was maximized when CPC and Brij-35 existed in a 1:1 mole ratio, and the reaction mechanism was elucidated through H-1 NMR analysis.

Summary: The study investigated the impact of different nitrogen application rates on the phenolic acid composition of wheat grains and found that while nitrogen did not affect the concentration of trans-ferulic acid, it significantly influenced other phenolic acids. The composition of wheat phenolic acids was mainly determined by wheat variety, though there was some interaction effect between variety and environment.

Summary: The study investigates the parameters of giant stars, focusing on Li-rich giants. By using a data-driven neural network method, the authors were able to classify the red giant stars into different evolutionary stages and analyze their properties. They found that Li-rich RGB stars are likely descendants of Li-rich pre-RGB stars or the result of planet or substellar companions being engulfed. The massive Li-rich SRC stars may be a natural consequence of Li depletion from high-mass Li-rich RGB stars. In addition, internal mixing processes near the helium flash could explain Li richness in PRC giants, which dominate Li-rich giants.

Summary: PF, FA, and ATL individually or in combination showed significant reduction in inflammatory factor production and increased expression of autophagy-related proteins in LPS-induced neuroinflammation in BV2 microglia cells. The best therapeutic effect was observed with the combination of all three compounds, and their protective effect may be through activation of the AMPK/ULK1/TFEB autophagic signaling pathway.

Summary: In this study, the oxidation of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and salicylic acid (SAL) was carried out using different oxidizing agents. The presence of terbium (III) or europium (III) ions in the Fe(II)/(III)-H2O2-ASA (or SAL)-Ln (III) system acted as sensitizers of the chemiluminescence studied. The Fe(II)/(III)-H2O2-ASA-Tb(III) system showed the highest chemiluminescence intensity, with a linear dependence on the concentration of ASA.

Summary: The self-assembly of iridium complexes in water-soluble nanocontainers using PEGylated apoferritin is crucial for fabricating ECL bioprobes. The encapsulation of iridium cores in PEG-apoHSF cavities allows for enhanced ECL behavior and potential applications in biosensing systems. Additionally, the developed immunosensor based on Ti3C2Tx/TiO2 hybrids exhibited amplified ECL responses for neuron-specific enolase detection.

Summary: The study focuses on the influence of surface chemical composition of lignocellulosic fibres on the products formed during reactions, utilizing a data-mining approach to analyze the relationship between different parameters. Crystalline and amorphous cellulose, xylans, mannans, and lignins were found to be correlated with specific reaction products at 25 degrees C, while only lignins and xylan were correlated at 60 degrees C. The study reveals the importance of fibres' surface composition in determining the extractive profiles and overall reaction outcomes.

Summary: A feruloyl esterase (FAE) gene was isolated from rumen microbial metagenome, expressed and purified successfully. FAE efficiently catalyzed the release of ferulic acid (FA) from corn fiber under optimal conditions. Addition of GH10 endoxylanase (XYN) enhanced the yield of FAE in releasing FA.
