Summary: The study revealed that the overall health service utilization rate among participants was low, with educational status, family size, economic status, and payment mechanism being significantly associated with health service utilization. Improving the community's educational level, promoting family planning, devising income-generating strategies, and strengthening the fee waiver mechanism may enhance health service utilization.

Summary: The review found that supplementation of n-3 PUFAs has a modest beneficial effect on depressive symptoms, particularly in individuals with longer treatment duration and those without depression or with mild to moderate depression. However, there are differences in effects based on different EPA dosages, and the overall quality of evidence remains insufficient.

Summary: Selective study dropout poses challenges in detecting intervention effects, especially for individuals engaged in health-risk behaviors. This study identified four health-related lifestyle profiles affecting dropout in a physical activity intervention trial for older adults, with socially inactive and slightly unhealthy lifestyles increasing dropout risk, while highly physically active and health-promoting lifestyles showed no significant effects on dropout rates.

Summary: This article introduces web- and print-based materials for promoting physical activity among adults aged 60 years and older. The effectiveness of the intervention was evaluated through randomized trials, and a toolbox of theory-based, practice-relevant, and scientifically evaluated recommendations was summarized.

Summary: This study compared the effectiveness of two physical activity interventions conducted at home on cognitive and physical health parameters in older adults. The results suggested that a combined web-based and activity tracker intervention may improve physical functions, physical self-concept, and cognition in community-dwelling older adults.

Summary: Research is lacking on how to organize programs for promoting healthy aging to increase acceptance and effectiveness. This study examined ecological factors in a physical activity intervention trial for older adults. The study found that individual and study-related variables were more predictive of participation and dropout than ecological factors. Future studies should consider these factors in program planning to engage and retain participants.

Summary: This study compared the acceptance and effectiveness of two interventions for promoting physical activity in older adults. The results showed that there was little movement between intervention groups when given the choice, and participation was not associated with increases in physical activity or decreases in sedentary behavior over time.

Summary: The study aimed to evaluate the performance of supervised machine learning algorithms in predicting articles relevant for full-text review in a systematic review. The results showed that the down-sampling unigram approach performed the best, and combining predictions of multiple algorithms improved sensitivity and reduced screening burden.

Summary: This study compared the serum lipid and immunohematological values of tuberculous lymphadenitis (TBLN) and pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) patients. The results showed that TBLN patients had higher body mass index, CD4+ T cell count, and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) values compared to PTB patients. On the other hand, PTB patients had higher platelet count and triacylglycerol (TAG) values compared to TBLN cases.

Summary: High blood pressure is a common health concern among seafarers, but it can be difficult for them to access regular monitoring. This study developed a risk prediction model for hypertension in seafarers based on self-reported data, which can be useful for early detection and prevention.

Summary: Using the biopsychosocial model, this study evaluated the effects of an intervention targeting physical activity on the extent of social participation among older adults. The results showed that being physically active buffered the negative effect of poor self-reported physical performance on social participation. Individual preconditions should be considered when developing interventions to improve social participation.

Summary: The study found that web-based interventions are as effective as print-based interventions in helping older individuals maintain or improve their physical activity levels and reduce depressive symptoms, especially for those who feel younger.
