Summary: This study examines the impact of applying two different classification methods on the disciplinary collaboration rates in Social Sciences and Humanities research. The results show that both classification methods indicate an overall increase in collaboration, but they reveal clearly dissimilar trends for publications written by Humanities scholars, indicating a plateau in co-authorship according to the cognitive classification while continuations increase according to the organisational classification. These variations are attributed to an increase in the proportion of Humanities researchers publishing in non-Humanities channels.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of different circulation types on precipitation in western and eastern parts of the Czech Republic, analyzing their contributions to total precipitation, mean daily precipitation totals, and precipitation probability. The study found that types with westerly airflow and troughs over Central Europe have the highest proportions in precipitation totals, while types with cyclones over Central Europe, especially combined with specific airflow directions, result in the highest daily mean totals and precipitation probability. The research also examines the suitability of different classifications for precipitation analysis, highlighting the varying effects of airflow and cyclones on precipitation distribution in different regions.

Summary: The choice of disciplinary classification can lead to over- or underestimation of the absolute number of publications per discipline, but has practically no influence on relative numbers. Therefore, it is important to consider the choice of disciplinary classification when using data from national databases.

Summary: This article explores the insights into eating practices, conceptualizing and making of 'good' food by people living with chronic disease, particularly those with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). It highlights the unique ways in which people with IBD modify their diet and bodies, and develop the ability to sense their dysbiotic guts. By challenging established notions of digestion and metabolism, individuals with IBD create a body of knowledge through their eating practices that opens up new pathways for understanding collaborations, health, and ecologies beyond the human realm.

Summary: We contribute to the field of veterinary humanities by promoting collaboration between veterinarians and anthropologists. Veterinary anthropology analyzes the role of animal diseases in social life and questions notions of animal and human health. We suggest three ways for veterinarians to collaborate with anthropologists, including sharing knowledge on zoonoses, integrating animals as actors in security infrastructures, and exploring the reflexivity of veterinary expertise through anthropological attention. Veterinary anthropology can be defined as an anthropology of veterinarians and with veterinarians.
