Summary: In the LEGEND-200 experiment, excellent energy resolution and ultra-low background around the Q-value are crucial for searching for monochromatic peaks as the signature of neutrinoless double beta decay. Custom-made Th-228 sources with low neutron emission rates are used to determine and monitor the stability of the energy scale and resolution of the germanium detectors. The neutron-induced background rate, mainly from the activation of Ge-76, is negligible compared to other background sources in LEGEND-200, with a flux approximately one order of magnitude lower than commercial sources.

Summary: The SuperNEMO experiment aims to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay and study the Standard-Model double-beta decay process. The SuperNEMO Demonstrator Module will be calibrated using 42 Bi-207 calibration sources for accurate energy response, and a novel method using Timepix pixel detectors has been proposed for precise measurement of the sources' geometry. Selection of high-quality sources with central positioning is crucial for calibration.

Summary: SNO+ is a large-scale liquid scintillator experiment located approximately 2 km underground in SNOLAB, Sudbury, Canada, with the primary goal of searching for neutrinoless double beta decay. The experiment measured the optical properties of the detector in situ using a deployed light diffusing sphere to improve the detector model and energy response uncertainties. The calibrated detector model was validated using a deployed tagged gamma source, showing a 0.6% variation in energy scale across the primary target volume.

Summary: A prototype CMOS pixel sensor named Supix-1 was fabricated and tested to investigate its feasibility for a pixelated tracker for the proposed Circular Electron-Positron Collider (CEPC). The sensor, fabricated with a 180 nm CMOS Image Sensor (CIS) process, showed satisfactory noise level and charge collection performance for pixels as large as 21 x 84 µm. The study demonstrates that CMOS pixel sensors with enlarged pitches using CIS technology can be used in tracking for upcoming collider detectors like the CEPC.
