Summary: Despite equality being included in South Africa's environmental management policy, social inclusion remains a concern. The policy allows equal opportunities for citizens to learn about the environment and participate in environmental management, but as most South Africans do not speak English as their first language, linguistic accessibility is important. However, books in South African public libraries primarily provide environmental management opportunities in English, excluding many citizens.

Summary: The European Lead Factory model offers industry-standard high-throughput screening and hit validation services to academia, small and medium-sized enterprises, charity organizations, patient foundations, and participating pharmaceutical companies. The compound collection used for screening is built from a unique diversity of sources, providing structural diversity and combining molecules with complementary physicochemical properties. The updated screening library is highly diverse, drug-like, and complementary to commercial screening libraries, enabling innovative drug discovery projects for the next 5 years.

Summary: There is a consensus on the urgency of promoting a strong change towards energy models that are less dependent on non-renewable sources, more equitable, and truly environmentally friendly. A framework based on multiple criteria theory is proposed for analyzing the sustainability of energy models, which was successfully applied to the Spanish energy model, demonstrating its comprehensive and operational effectiveness.

Summary: Modeling multivariate time series has long been a topic of interest for scholars in various fields. This paper introduces MvTS, an open library based on Pytorch, which provides a unified framework for implementing and evaluating these models. Extensive experiments on public datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and universality of the models reproduced by MvTS.

Summary: The importance of next-generation sequencing (NGS) for diagnostic testing and surveillance-based screening has become more evident due to COVID-19. However, many laboratories face barriers such as limited staff, lack of expertise in sequencing, difficulties in assay standardization, and inability to handle samples within expected turnaround times. Workflow automation provides an opportunity to overcome these challenges.

Summary: This article presents the Open-Source AcoustoFluidics Theories (OSAFT) library, a Python library for solving problems related to acoustofluidics. The library provides various theoretical models for describing acoustic scattering, acoustic streaming, and the acoustic radiation force on particles. The code is designed to be extensible, with a library of fluid and solid material models to facilitate the implementation of new theories. Comparisons between different theories are made straightforward through a unified application programming interface (API).

Summary: In recent years, the act of stealthing, also known as nonconsensual condom removal, has gained attention. This rapid review analyzed 16 research articles and found that over 10% of women and men engaging in same-sex encounters have experienced stealthing. The study proposes new terminology and emphasizes the importance of gathering information directly from those who have experienced this behavior in research and policy-making.

Summary: The risk factors for colonization with extended-spectrum cephalosporin-resistant Enterobacterales (ESCrE) in low-income communities in Kenya include frequent healthcare visits and poultry keeping. These risk factors are influenced by respondents' sex, age, use of improved toilet facilities, and residence in a rural or urban community.

Summary: This study presents a Pt-clusters-equipped antioxidase-like biocatalyst with superior catalytic abilities for stem cell protection and periodontitis treatment. The biocatalyst demonstrates exceptional ROS-scavenging activities and effectively protects stem cell survival and adhesion in high ROS levels microenvironment. It also reduces the inflammatory response and protects against bone loss in the treatment of mouse periodontitis.

Summary: The research proposes a two-fold adaptive dynamic quadrilateral relay for protecting TCSC-compensated TLs, which can detect a wide range of resistive faults under all TCSC modes of operations. This relay independently adapts its reactive reach and resistive reach, and does not require data synchronization or high level of computation and filtration.

Summary: In this study, an efficient method for constructing an IMiD-based azide library was reported, which can provide triazole moieties to rapidly screen out lead degraders valuable for drug development. This new library has been shown to effectively identify potent degraders for oncogenic proteins, BCR-ABL and BET, with comparable or even higher potency than reported PROTACs in degrading target proteins and inhibiting cancer cell proliferation.

Summary: This paper examines Augustinian leadership based on Augustine's works and emphasizes the importance of a leadership view focused on community building and characterized by veracity. This leadership style is motivated by love and defined as a way to attain knowledge. Four subconstructs are identified to constitute an Augustinian leadership scale: Centrality of the community, Veracity, Empathy, and Success (through temperance). The paper provides theoretical grounds for the distinctiveness of this leadership construct and proposes a testable framework with direct and mediated effects on affective commitment and a sense of belonging.
