Summary: Disruptive green innovation is crucial for achieving corporate sustainable development. This study investigates the impact of innovation ecosystem coopetition on disruptive green innovation, and finds that both cooperation and competition in the innovation ecosystem have positive effects on environmental resource orchestration, which in turn leads to disruptive green innovation. The study also reveals that big data analytics capability moderates the relationship between innovation ecosystem cooperation and environmental resource orchestration.

Summary: The legislation on agricultural land protection in Slovakia has a long history and has been influenced by social relations, technical advances, legal culture, and lawmakers' experience. The relationship between farmers and the land was disrupted during the collectivization period, and has not been fully restored. The post-1990 era was dominated by conflicts between restoring private farms and preserving competitive agricultural companies. Since joining the EU in 2004, land protection in Slovakia has been aligned with international standards.

Summary: Despite the importance of economic and technological progress, this paper highlights the need to address environmental and ecological challenges for sustainable development. By analyzing 40 years of data, the study finds that technological innovation plays a significant role in promoting sustainable development in China without harming the environment. Additionally, the results suggest that financial development contributes to China's sustainability by reducing carbon dioxide emissions, while economic growth further enhances the sustainability process by decreasing CO2 emissions. The findings of this research contribute to existing theories and have implications for global innovation policies.

Summary: Mixed ownership reform has had a significant impact on China's economic development, but there is limited research on how it affects carbon performance in the context of environmentally sustainable development. This study examines the effects of mixed ownership reform on carbon performance using A-share industrial state-owned enterprises in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2008 to 2020 as research samples. The findings suggest that mixed ownership reform can improve the carbon performance of enterprises, with green innovation playing an intermediary role. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of mixed ownership reform in heavily polluted and competitive industries for enhancing carbon performance.

Summary: This study investigates whether R&D and environmental knowledge spillovers contribute to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for SDG12. Panel data from the European Union, Japan, and USA for the period 2002-2017 and a production function approach are utilized. The results show that while R&D in general hinders the achievement of SDG12 targets, environmental knowledge spillovers facilitate goal attainment. The findings suggest that policymakers should focus on measures that promote environmental innovation and knowledge spillovers from green technologies to support sustainable development through innovation.

Summary: Our study focuses on the environmental constraint target policy, which effectively decomposes environmental targets and manages goals to minimize implementation bias and ensure expected environmental performance. Using longitudinal data covering Chinese firms in high-pollution industries, we find that this policy promotes firms' green innovation, especially with intensive monitoring and in regions with higher environmental enforcement capability. Furthermore, our analysis reveals that the policy improves firms' economic performance and facilitates sustainable development through promoting green innovation.

Summary: Globalization has brought about increased production and population, thereby causing heightened environmental damage. To ensure the survival of humanity and the planet, it is crucial to develop renewable energy sources. This study investigates the impact of environmental taxes and renewable energy electricity on renewable energy consumption in seven emerging economies from 1990 to 2020 using a panel dataset. The results confirm a long-term association, slope coefficient heterogeneity, and cross-sectional dependency. The study utilizes a new technique called method of moments quantile regression (MMQR) due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The findings suggest that renewable energy output, environmental taxation, economic growth, and carbon emissions are major factors influencing renewable energy consumption, while eco-friendly innovations reduce the demand for renewable energy. The reliability of the results is verified through bootstrap quantile regression and the panel Granger causality test indicates a bidirectional causal relationship between the listed factors and renewable energy usage. The study recommends increased investment in renewable electricity, the environmental tax sector, and ecological innovation to promote the use of renewable energy.

Summary: Green energy consumption and eco-innovations have positive effects on US economic growth and CO2 emissions, contributing to improved air quality and sustainable development. However, there is limited research on this topic. This study uses a quantile regression approach to investigate the dynamic impact of green energy and environmental innovations on the US economy and CO2 emissions from 1990 to 2019. The findings show that green energy consumption reduces CO2 emissions by promoting economic growth across different quantiles. Additionally, eco-innovations contribute to economic growth by reducing CO2 emissions. There is also bi-directional quantile causality between green energy consumption, economic growth, and CO2 emissions. These empirical results provide insights for US policymakers to adopt green energy and environmental innovations to address environmental issues without compromising economic growth and sustainable development.
