Summary: A highly sensitive ELISA method using a newly produced monoclonal antibody was developed for the detection of OTA in food samples. The ELISA exhibited ultra-sensitivity with IC50 and LOD values of 34.8 pg mL(-1) and 1.5 pg mL(-1), respectively. The antibody showed no cross-reactivity with other mycotoxins, and the ELISA could also determine total levels of ochratoxins in food samples.

Summary: A monoclonal antibody specific to sablefish IgM was produced and demonstrated its usefulness in studying antibody-mediated immunity, vaccine development, and aquaculture efforts for this fish species. The antibody, UI-25A, can recognize membrane-bound IgM and identify immunogenic regions of A. salmonicida.

Summary: This study developed a monoclonal antibody-based ELISA method for quantifying Enterobacteriaceae levels in the intestine, which can be used to assess gut inflammation. The ELISA showed high accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility, and was able to detect Enterobacteriaceae levels produced in different bacterial cultures.

Summary: In this study, an ic-ELISA method was developed using a new generation metabolite (DMEQ)-based monoclonal antibody (mAb) for the rapid detection of Qx residues in food. The method exhibited high sensitivity and a wide linear range, and showed good cross-reactivity with multiple DQx. Furthermore, the method demonstrated good correlation with LC-MS/MS results in animal-derived foods, indicating its potential for rapid screening of Qx residues.

Summary: The plant expression platform is a new source for producing IgG targeting small low-molecular-weight molecules. The study demonstrated that plant-produced functional IgG maintained the binding activity and specificity of IgG derived from mammalian cells, showing potential as an efficient and cost-effective platform for antibody production in immunoassays targeting low-molecular-weight compounds.

Summary: In this study, a highly specific and high affinity monoclonal antibody 8A9 was prepared for the detection of diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS), a type A trichothecene, in rice samples. An indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ic-ELISA) and a lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based on the monoclonal antibody were developed, with detection limits as low as 0.65 μg/kg and 100 μg/kg, respectively. Molecular docking analysis revealed the molecular recognition mechanism of the antibody, demonstrating the highly specific recognition of DAS through hydrogen bonds and a pi-sigma bond.

Summary: In this study, two porcine-derived monoclonal antibodies against SVA were generated, and a competitive ELISA for the detection of neutralizing antibodies against SVA was successfully developed using these two porcine monoclonal antibodies. The NAC-ELISA was SVA specific with high sensitivity and specificity, and can be used for serodiagnosis and surveillance of SVA, thus contributing to the prevention and control of SVA.

Summary: African swine fever (ASF) is a deadly viral disease affecting pigs with no commercial vaccines available. A monoclonal antibody (mAb) against the p54 protein of ASFV was successfully obtained and shown to have potential for detecting ASF vaccine strains. The synthetic epitope peptide used in the ELISA showed high sensitivity and specificity, indicating promise for ASF epidemic monitoring and control.
