In the present work, we report the first bionanocomposite material formed by otoliths/bacterial cellulose (BC) networks (OCBC). This biomaterial is an osteoinductor or be, stimulates the bone regeneration, enabling bigger migration of the cells for formation of the bone fabric. Otolith is a typical biomaterial which is composed of calcium carbonate and organic matrix, present in the inner ear of fishes. Since they are rich in minerals considered essential to the bone mineralization process on a protein matrix (otolith). The objective in this study was to analyze the regeneration capacity of bone defects treated with nanotoliths/bc network preparation and evaluated the response of the dental pulps of dog teeth to capping in comparison with control group. Otoliths/bc network stimulates the formation of mineralized tissue barrier and inducing the reparative pulp response, and hence work as a promising pulp capping material.
